Sorry, but I never heard of Nu Smoke. The website looks very generic and they clearly try to "copy" the most popular brand blu cigs. I would buy blu cigs over this unknown brand.

I charged my ecig all day and its just not working. It worked a few times and then it just does nothing. This is only day two it doesn't even light up when I plug it into my computer. Am I doing something wrong?

This is difficult to trouble shoot. It could be the connection between battery and cartridges. Try to loosen or tighten the connection.

Mama suggested that I get a e cigarette to treat my asthma. I am a non smoker, but she says I can get a kit that doesn't have nicotine. And I can get one that has chocolate and other flavors instead of the nicotine. Nothing else works for my condition. Tried inhalers and pills. I need to know where I can pick up a kit, how much it will cost, and what are my choices. I am low income, so cheap is good. I would also like to know the ingredents to the flavors because I have allergies to artificial sweetners. If this works for me then I have several friends I can spread the word to. Two notes:
1) the SmokeTip rubber cap is a little more difficult to remove
2) there is an additional plastic ring below the rubber cap. Simply remove it to see the wool. Replace it at the end.

It seems like every day someone invents a new brand. I have not heard of lava smoke at all. Most of the store sold brands are cheap imports from China with very little quality assurance and expensive refill cartridges.
Fact is that all electronic cigarettes come from China but the established brands either produce the smoke juice here in the US or strictly control quality in Chinese factories.

Esmoke.net claims they are USA Manufactured, and their liquid is made in the US. What does this include? Do they make the batteries, cartridges, and the nicotine in the US? What do they make or don't? I've contacted many different electronic cigarette companies and they all claim they manufacture everything in china and that "NO ONE" makes any electronic cigarettes in the US. What do I make of all this?

As far as I know eSmoke only claims that their liquid is USA made and that the cartridges are filled in the USA. The fact that their batteries / cartridges are compatible with other brands tells me that they are made in China just like anyone else.

Since the cartridges contain water will they freeze and or break if left in a car in extreme weather (hot or cold) conditions?

cartridges don't just contain pure water so I don't know if they will freeze above or below 32 degrees. In general you should store cartridges in a cool, dark, and dry place. Keep them away from heat and light!

I bought GreenNicotine e cigs. I thought they were great until I became extremely depressed, and found out that inhaling the PG can do this. I would like to try one without the PG. Who makes one without it? There was a small disclaimer about how you shouldn't use this product if you are depressed or on anti-depressants but I ignored it. It is a serious side effect!

this is not normal. A few brands' cigs are harder to draw but this is not typical.

I got many brands here such a South Beach Smoke, eSmoke, blu, Vapor King, and Cirrus and they are easy. GreenSmoke is a little harder to draw.

most vendors ship their kit with charged batteries. Please check the manual or the getting started guide. The flavor is often indicated on each cartridge with a letter, i.e. V for vanilla. But it depends on the brand. Sometimes only the box with the cartridges indicates the flavor and nicotine level.
Yes, you can switch to a different cartridge at any time. Just store all used or unused cartridges in a dark place away from sunlight and heat.

I have a 4081 and I have tried different flavors but they all taste the same to me and the taste isn't very satisfying. I have cleaned the atomizers and used new atomizers to no avail. what am I doing wrong? There can't be that many sastisfied people out there if i'm not doing something wrong. I personally think that all brands' flavors are somewhat weak. It is not like a chewing gum or lollipop :) In my opinion most smokers switch to ecigs for the nicotine and for continuing the physical act of smoking.

I can not make the claim that cigs are healthier because I do not have scientific evidence. But I personally believe that they are a a better alternative to tobacco cigarettes. They do not contain tar nor tobacco. Many ecig users have reported that they feel better since they started vaping.

Excellent question! The expected lifespan of an electronic cigarette battery is 2-6 months depending on how often you use it and how you care for it (i.e. avoid long exposure to sunlight, heat, etc).

Is there an e cig out there that is totally manufactured in the US? I am not aware of any company making atomizers here in the US. I am not a scientist and I do not test products for unsafe metals and I don't know of any reports on this topic. Sorry :)

As far as I know The Safe Cig runs their own manufacturing in China to ensure quality control. They do not simply buy their components from China.

no, not all cartridges are interchangeable. No cartridge from a 2 piece ecig (atomizer and cartridge combined called cartomizer) is ever compatible to a cartridge from a 3 piece ecig (cartridge and atomizer are separate). Some brands are compatible since their e-cigarettes are based on the same model. Example: Smoke 51, Green Smoke, and Red Dragon.

I notice that there are 0 nicotine flavors. Would it be stupid for a non-smoker to want to use the e-cig to get 0 calorie effects of the flavorful juices? I looked up the lewhiff chocolate inhaler being that\'s being marketed as a chocolate-craving fulfilling experience. But it is so expensive and non-refillable. The idea of the e-cig appeals to me on a relaxation level. Do the flavors actually 'taste' good? In general I tell non-smokers to stay away from ecigs since they are not a "toy" but an alternative to smoking tobacco. I would recommend the same to you.

The flavors (in my opinion) are good but not too strong. Don't expect a full flavor. I don't think it would fulfill your chocolate cravings ... :) But you can give it a try - especially since many companies offer a 30 day money back guarantee ...

DEG is Diethylene glycol. Cartridges made in China contained traces of DEG. US made smoke juice has stricter rules and lab tests. DEG should not be in cartridges.

I just received a DirectEcig. I don't know if this typical of ecigs. The after taste was awful.
