Safe to vape around pets?

Hi,

I'm new to vaping... and I have birds. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not it's safe to vape around pets? The vapor seems to hang in a air a bit and I wonder if it's harmful. For now I'm keeping a window open just in case.

The vapor is just water with a little bit of nicotine and flavor. The only way it would be harmful for your birds would be if you drowned them in the vapor and they overdosed on nicotine.
