Just 2 weeks ago my father passed away from complications due to COPD and nuemonia. He smoked analog cigs for years and just before his passsing I was recommending to switch to the e-cig as an alternative. I've decided to switch to hopefully not be the next one to go in my family. It's all so true that cigaretts kill people and we all know this. I just wish the e-cig were more readily availabe so that all smokers could change to the e-cig and at the very least add a few more years to thier lives. I've read and stumbled across many articles that support a ban on the e-cig and claim that they have cancer causing properties. But, my arguement is that "don't anolog cigs already cause cancer?, and smoke dicomforts everyone anyhow?" So, why not consider an alternative that may be healthier? Even in 20 years we may find that the e-cig definatley causes cancer. For now theres not been any long term studies by the FDA...that would definativly confirm that the e-cig causes cancer. And in my world, I'd rather die of cancer in 20 years than be strapped to portable O2 for my last days. E-cigs are a viable and healthier alternative. I recommend everyone switch today!

Hi all, My first post on this forum, I'm just gonna state some things to get off my chest and my experience with e-cigs. I've been a closet smoker for over 20 years. Never got up to a pack a day but stayed at about 1/2 pack. I'm a doctor. I say closet smoker because I always tried to hide my smoking habits. From my family, co workers, patients etc. Always smoked in my car and never in public. Always had lots of gum mints etc. I'm sure people knew because of the awful smell on my clothes and breath. My wife knew but didn't really say too much except I should quit. So I tried to quit, many times, cold turkey and the gum. A friend showed me e-cigs a few weeks ago and I quickly ordered one from cloud nine. So here I am 1 week later smoking the e-cigs not smoking an analog for almost a week and loving it!
I really hope I can stick with this and eventully ween myself off the nicotine for good. From a health professional getting things off his chest, please encourage kids and teens to never take up smoking, its too hard to quit! Thanks for listening. Doc PS I personally dont think ecigs are 100% safe, but I'm sure they are not as dangerous and regular cigarettes.

Avoid all kinds of bad chemicals from the real cigarette. Don't bother other people. Still enjoy pops.

I would like to get away from ashtrays and smelling like smoke. The cost savings is a bonus.

I work a 12 hour shift where I have to be outside in a special smoke area to enjoy a cigarette. Cloud9 e-cigs are a great alternative to going outside in sub-zero weather or in rain, sleet, hail, etc. I can actually use this in the office. If my place of work decides to go smoke free, this will also keep the cravings at bay.

Hello! I gave up REAL cigarettes on Jan.21st.I tell all smokers I see about e-cigs. I have to recomend them and give everyone this web site.I can't recomend them highly enough! I tried every thing and I mean everything,to quit smoking.I was watching the news one evening and a guy was smoking a e-cigarette,so I hit the net and found someone from good ol USA and ordered,DO not order from China, way to much trouble, also you don't really know what you are getting.USA has certain standards other countries do not. Now I prefer e-cigs! You can smoke anywhere! I was smoking (my e-cig) in my Doctors exam room during a pap smear I guess by now you can tell I am a advocate of the e-cigarette!!! Also during my earler days of finding juice for my e-cig,I stumbled across Cloud 9.They have by far the best juice. I recomend it highly! When I first started buying e-cigs they did'nt have the starter kit,so hows about it guys? Sandi
