What is the difference between a 2 piece vs. 3 piece electronic cigarette? Which ones are two piece and which ones are three piece?

Hi Camilla and others!
This is a very good questions and depending on who you ask you'll get a different answer. Let's look at both sides and you can develop your own opinion/conclusion:
"Two piece" ecig side: * Each cartridge comes with a fresh and clean atomizer built in. * No worries about cleanliness or atomizer performance decrease over time. * No need to ever buy a new atomizer.
"Three piece" ecig side: * Atomizer is of better quality and comes with warranty. * Refill cartridges are cheaper (some by more than 50%). * New atomizer costs about $10. So you could get a new atomizer with every 10 cartridges and still save money. * Blu ecig atomizer claims to be self-cleaning.
2 piece electronic cigarette brands: GreenSmoke, Bloog, Smoke 51, Smoking Everywhere (some models)
3 piece electronic cigarettes brands: blu ecigs, Envy, Safe Cig, NJOY, Smoking Everywhere (some models)

And some brands are even compatible, for example the following 2 piece ecigs are: GreenSmoke, Bloog, and Smoke 51.

I have had both. It is my opinion that the 3 piece is the best especially if you plan to refill. They seem to vape better too. the cartomizer of a two piece only fills a couple of times and then ether clogs up or tastes bad.

The idea of having to refill my e-cig every time I want to "recharge" it doesn't attract me. I don't want having an e-cig to be maintenance at all. Smoke 'n go...that's it. I'll stick to the 2-piece design.
Although, lots of people prefer dripping, I just can't see myself doing this in the long run.
Try both ways, maybe.
