Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueThis this is quite easy and streamline to use as long as you get the premium pack. The pack is really nicely designed but the blue light that flashes every time you open the pack is quite bright. The packs battery length is actually pretty good but yet i still have to plug it in every night. This thing is nice and i enjoy using it. I purchased the non nicotine packs and enjoy the habit of smoking and this this is actually working for me. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueDay 5 and carts are just about gone. As I've been informed about bad carts, one of the five were bad. Good experience with the other four. I have been using it too much and I think that's why. It's like a new toy. When I get the carts I ordered I'll try to use in moderation and be better able to compare. I smoked about 15-18 analog a day.( A little more with drinks). Have not bought a pack since. I did have to call cust-srv. Got the info I needed quickly and resolved my problem. So far great product. Isiah commented on May 26 2012: Try V2. As with most of these products, the cartridges do not last as long as advertised, but you wont be disappointed with the battery life or the flavors from V2 [except for cherry. It tastes too waxy. like your smoking a cherry cough drop flavored lip gloss]. The thing I really like about the V2 battery is that it lasts for a long time and is compatible with cartridges from other companies. I mix V2's batteries with carts from a company called Premium [Premium's vanilla will knock your socks off]. Whatever you do, do not try Green Smoke. I can't emphasize that enough. I returned my Green Smoke kit the same day I received it. The flavors made me sick to my stomach. Blu has a good product, but they really need to find a way to improve the battery life and make the cart flavor last longer. After 100 puffs or so, ur basically just inhaling unflavored nicotine vaper. I was going to try the Apollo, but I'm going to stick with V2 unless Blu makes some drastic improvements to their products. Lisa commented on May 25 2012: It's been 2 1/2 weeks now with my blu. I'm sending it back in hopes of getting my $$ back. The carts are one of the reasons. NOT AT ALL COMPARED to what they advertise. Too many other better choices. If they sold blank carts I would (MAYBE) reconsider. Sorry BLU... Isiah commented on May 20 2012: Point Blank, Blu has THE best flavor carts i've ever tasted. My problem with Blu is that the flavors dont last long and their batteries are TERRIBLE. I recently switched to V2. Although their batteries and vapor are much better and the flavor lasts throughout the entire cart, the V2 flavors arent in the same ballpark as Blu. Now I am looking into trying the Apollo. Im a 100% E-cig smoker and will never go back to analog cigarettes, but im still searching for the best E-cig for me. If Blu could find a way to make the initial cart flavor last until the cart is empty and improve their batteries, they would be the kings of the industry. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueThe only thing I don't like is there is a sound effect when you inhale. I personally find the associated sound unneeded and I'd prefer it to not be there. It probably needlessly wastes battery-life as well for those that do indeed want greater battery life. Anyhow, it's clean and easy and everything about the brand is user-friendly. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValuebluCRM commented on April 20 2012: Jaedreth, electronic cigarettes are not intended to be a replacement, but rather an alternate option to smoking traditional cigarettes. You can go out and drink, gatorade, or water, or beer, or wine; none of these is intended to be a replacement for the other, just another option. This being said, one should not look at an electronic cigarette as a "cigarette", they are different and should be perceived as such. Ultimately, if you want to have options, keep electronic cigarettes as an ace up your sleeve. As for our ingredients, they are posted in multiple places on our website, blog, and wiki page, AS WELL AS on the back of EVERY pack of carts that we sell. Electronic cigarettes are still VERY new and are being tested constantly for the effects of the e-juice on the body, but it takes time to see true results. Blu may not be for everyone, and that is why we are not the only brand out there. Thanks for trying at least, and we do hope that you find something that fills your needs. If you ever have any more questions about our product, write to us on Facebook, Twitter, email, or call in to C/S. We will get someone to answer all your questions. Thanks! Jaedreth commented on April 11 2012: I have found the blu to be a poor replacement for cigarettes. However, it is the best product of its kind. I don't suggest people try to 'stick it out' if Blu doesn't work for them. Not for heavy smokers. Oh, and please keep in mind, the anti-smoking propaganda in the media and such is just that. A report given by the Bureau of Vital Statistics shows that one's chance of dying of a "Smoking Related Disease" at any age, smoker vs non-smoker, your chances of dying of any particular one of these diseases at any age is only *marginally* higher for smokers than non-smokers (5-10% versus, as opposed to the propaganda message that smoking = debilitation and death). The truth of the matter is that people have different genetic dispositions for cancer and "smoking related diseases". Most of the people who come down with these so called "smoking related diseases" Are Not Smokers. This is all propaganda. And as such, I advise that if you like smoking, and you don't have a family history of cancer or smoking related diseases, then exercise your freedom of choice and smoke. If you do have a family history of cancer and/or smoking related diseases, then please take care. Blu might be a good alternative for you. But again, it doesn't work well for heavy smokers, and the vapor may irritate some people. For me, I felt like I was sucking on a battery whenever I used the Blu electronic cigarette. I felt an ionization in my teeth. Now, I do agree the FDA does need to create regulations to make sure that the electronic cigarettes meet certain basic safety requirements, and e-cig manufacturers need to reveal the ingredients in their vapor formula. None of them do this. You have free will. If you want to quit smoking, do so. If you don't want to, don't. If you want to use an electronic cigarette, feel free. Just remember that not even Blu discloses enough information about their products to know if they are truly safe or not. Kim commented on April 04 2012: Sad to hear that your sister did not make the switch. She really needs to be willing to make the switch. I personally switched to blus and no longer smoke regular cigarettes. It does take commitment and willingness but it is worth it! |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueFlavors - all reviews are for full-flavor Tobacco: It tastes fine, with a coffee undertone. Just like a regular cigarette. The coffee cartridges must be insane Cherry: Holy crap, these are delicious. Great hit. The package smelled like a fruity pile of fairy farts, so much so that I was afraid it had been damaged. Nope, it's just these delicious cartridges bursting with cherry goodness even while they're sealed. Vanilla: Delicious. It tastes like cake! Its even better than that cake-flavored ChapStick we used to eat as kids. Its perfect to use in a crowded area, because it is unmistakably pleasant that is, no one could ever confuse it with a cigar/cigarette smell, because it smells like a French maid with a tray of just-baked Crme Brle breezed by. Its sexy and serves as an alluring perfume for us lovely ladies who love the attention these things attract. With that said, the blu has only attracted one fellow user who asked how I liked it and a couple who looked at me as if I had just sparked a doobie in the hotel ballroom. I am not looked at with the squinted eyes of a bouncer who thought I was really smoking indoors. The blue light makes it obvious that its legal inside a building in New York State. Peach: At first it was my least favorite, but now I enjoy it just as much as cherry or the rest. It is my friends favorite. Both peach and schnapps come through, and I think the flavor depends on your mood and food/beverage habits of the day. Pia Colada: I ordered this yesterday and am still waiting on a confirmation. I think bigger orders get faster service, and I spent only $10 on this most recent order. When I pull on the blu, it makes a crackling noise, followed by a faint exhaust-exhale noise, and not all the cartridges do this. The battery itself takes about an hour to register as fully charged. The pack takes about two hours on the first charge. After that, its taking longer. I charged it in the wall and it passed the 5-hour mark before I had to go to bed. When the pack is low on charge, you will see one of the BLUE lights come on, not the red light. Remember that, because I was expecting the red and I missed the alert. The pack will charge the blu battery before charging itself, which is nicer than the opposite. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueThis repeated response is INFURIATING: "The way we recommend using your blu is to take longer, slower drags to get the best flavor/vapor production. Please note that we do not recommend blu to be used to quit smoking, it is simply an alternative to traditional tobacco products. We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee and a 1 year warranty on all non-consumable products. Smoking a blu is a little different than a traditional cigarette and may take a little time to get used to. I hope this helps!" NO, NO IT DOESN'T! 1. The long, slow drags, appears to be what's burning up the carts, and draining the batteries! hhmmm 2. If I hear one more person say ecigs aren't recommended to be a "stop-smoking" aid I'm gonna lose it! IT'S WORKING, for A LOT of people, why would you discourage that? Maybe it's a legal reason the company can't say it, but you'd think an ecig company would go with WHATEVER reason their customers brought business to them, NOT DISCOURAGE them! Like I said, I WANT to like blus, so I will try ordering a couple of new batteries and refilling the carts, hopefully that work. bluRCM commented on March 27 2012: Hi Shelly. One little tip we can offer up is to clean out your batteries and the charging port. To do this, use a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. We have a video on our youtube and facebook page if you would like to see how we do it. Secondly, please contact our customer support if you would like to exchange any of the components that you dont think are working properly. We do offer a 1 year warranty on all electrical components! I hope this helps |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueI received my blu several days after purchasing. The battery worked as I assumed it would. I started on 1 cartomizer at night, and the next morning the battery was out. I am a 2-pack-a-day smoker. But this is really no problem since the carrying case lets you charge on-the-go anyway, as I said. The white carrying pack comes with slots that lets you put 5 cartomizers and 2 battery sticks inside. One of the slots for the battery pack is for charging. This is very convenient, and looks similar to an actual pack of cigarettes. The charging directions are very simple. There are 3 simple steps written on the inside cap of the starter kit box. As a first time user I find blu really easy to use. The taste is great! I selected the original tobacco taste. Taking in the same amount as I would have on a normal cigarette on each breath is quite a lot of smoke. With these e-cig I have to take in lesser amount at a time. Overall I think this is a great product for someone wanting to try e-cigs. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueI've been vaping for a couple years now and have tried many different e-cigs. For much of this time I was into fancy attys, mods, etc. But after a while, I just got tired of the messy cartridges and tanks and the constant struggle of maintaining the atomizers - most work good for a day or two, but even with the best cleaning and maintenance they get bad fast. So finally I switched to Blu and am happy I did. The quality is good - I love that they use Johnson Creek Smoke Juice - and disposable atomizers are just so much easier and cleaner. At home I still do use my good old eJoy from time to time. But while out and about I take the Blu - no more fumbling around with messy cartridges, no more juice spilled in my car, nice small cigarette size and shape. Ok, the product is not perfect - there is some variability between cartridges (some last longer than others or produce more vapor), there is a limited range of flavors and the battery charge doesn't last long. But the flavors they do have are great and the charge pack really is convenient and lessens the inconvenience of short-lasting batteries. |
