Service Cost/Value I started on the Blu disposable cigarettes, and I have just recently purchased the Blue Premium starter kit. I love it so far, no complaints at all. Battery life is good, lasts me more than a day. Flavor is fantastic, I started with the cherry crush. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting the freedom to smoke anywhere, or to possibly try to quit smoking. Since I started smoking the Blu, I've had no desire for a regular cigarette, and I may even purchase a nicotine free cartridge to try it out. I've also cut way down on the amount I smoke everyday from a pack a day to about half a pack. Great job Blu!

I tried a less expensive starter kit by Nicotek. I was okay with that one except for the amount of vapor output. I had to draw very hard to get the vapor and the hit I was looking for. The man at the tobacco store said they were all like that. But I thought I would give the blu brand a try so I bought a disposable. I was very happy with the amount of vapor but the nicotine and taste was a bit strong. But that still prompted my to purchase the Blu starter kit. I am very pleased with it. I like the fact that there are 2 different ways to charge it up. And the hard carrying case is super! It holds all the supplies needed and charges the spare battery too! I tried the lighter nicotine level first but decided that wasn't a big enough hit so I have since switched to the higher nicotine. There are only 2 things I would think about improving. I'm not sure the carrying case charges the spare battery as fully as charging it on the computer does. And the other thing is the taste. I liked the taste of the Nicotek brand better but just had to have more vapor. But I feel for me this was the best choice of all. If you aren't getting enough vapor with the brand you have I would say switch to Blu and you will be happy!! Thanks so Much!!

I tried a different brand and found that I'm actually allergic to PG! It made my throat mildly swell. I looked into blu and found they use VG instead of PG. I love the social pack and the fact the pack keeps my battery charged! I also like the flavors. They are very smooth and not "sharp" like some others. It's a better experience and no smell or ash and it's very convenient! I keep the 2 batteries and extra cartridges in the pack and I'm never without. Easy-peasy! You can't go wrong with blu!

I have smoked menthol cigarettes for over 5 years and have tried several times to quit, unsuccessfully. I bought the menthol flavor ecig on a whim because I have seen it advertised and wanted to check it out. I used it for a couple of days and then decided to buy my husband one too! We were both very pleased!! I decided that I wanted to try the rechargeable version so I purchased the original starter pack from blu.com. It is so easy to use! I like it much better than the single use because it is smaller and more like a real cigarette. I tried the cherry flavor and gave my husband the second one in menthol. Service Cost/Value I love the flavor, but I am not impressed with the companies ability to keep cartridges in stock. It took 3 weeks to fill my last order. My current order is still in processing 4 days later, which I can only assume means they are out of stock again. Seems to be a common issue from what I've read on their Facebook page. I called to see if my cartridges were in stock and got their voice mailbox, which was full so I couldn't leave a message. I suggested on the Facebook page that they save their advertising money and try to improve product availability to keep their current customers. Hell of a way to run a business!

I love the fact that it comes in a pack for storage purposes and it also charges on the go. The flavors are good and the vapor makes you feel as though you are smoking a regular cigarette. On my second starter kit (first one would not hold charge for more than 10 minutes). My second one won't hold charge for more than an hour. Cartridge got so hot when I screwed it into the battery that it started to melt. Worst way to spend $60. Got a victory brand and I couldn't be happier. It lasts me 2 1/2 days (battery and cartridge).

They're kind of like your first love, in the sense that as you get older you realize it wasn't REALLY love, just a crush, foolish youth mixed with raging hormones, and...well, you get the idea. I smoked for 31 years, and this product helped me quit, cold-turkey, and for that I will always be grateful, and think of them fondly. However, that's not to say that they don't have problems, because they most certainly do. If you google e-cig reviews extensively and read up on them, you will see a pattern when it comes to this brand. Almost universally, people who have used it for any length of time all seem to agree that the battery life on the things are GOD-AWFUL. I know now why they included a portable charging case (called a PCC, for short), when you buy their starter kit, because if you didn't have that, and was going to be away from a source of charging your batteries (like a wall outlet, or USB port on a computer), you would have to carry, like, 5-10 batteries to get you through one day. And I'm not even close to kidding. (If you were a pack a day smoker, like me) The second issue I have with them is, while they do have some fairly pleasing flavors besides tobacco, most of the carts 'burn(?) out' rather quickly. And by that I mean, while you'll still be getting decent vapor, the vanilla (or cherry, or whatever other flavor) will start tasting like burned plastic. Oh, and even if you're just a moderate user, you'll be lucky if a cart lasts a full day. The 'one cartridge=one full pack of traditional cigarettes' is 100% dead wrong. All in all, blu is ... adequate. It's OK I guess. If you just need a 'quick fix' (they're the only e-cig ***KIT*** that you can walk into a store and buy), to help you quit, but there are much better brands out there. juana brown commented on May 05 2013: The cherry or vanilla flavor burns out very quickly, you still have the vapor but taste like tar after awhile your throat starts to burn and it won't go away .I think these things are very bad for you and my throat is damaged for good now.

I bought one of the disposables from the gas station and absolutely hated it. I smoked my usual brand of traditional cigs again after that until I saw a commercial for it on TV and figured I'd try it...with the 30 day return i had nothing to lose. I just got it and am loving it. Sorry I didn't try it sooner. They taste great, have plenty of vapor, and with two batteries and a pack that charges a spare you could almost never run out of power. I am already getting ready to order another for my wife. And I am very excited to sample some of the flavor cartridges too. Oh, and did I mention the refills cost about half of a pack of my usual brand. Awesome...Highly recommend.

On January 6th 2012 I picked out my first starer kit and I have never picked up an other real cig. My house, cloths and my car no longer smell. I just love the taste of all of the flavors. The only one I do not love that much is Java as it is too strong for me. There are a few more flavors they should carry. I love watermelon, apple, and grape. Please keep up the good work and I hope that the government does not try to stop a good thing. My doctor is the one that helped me find blu. I had smoked for 34 years and tried everything. Patches were awful. I Tried everything available over the counter at the drug store but nothing never even started to work for me. We tried pills that make me so sick that I thought I would never quit smoking. So my doctor started to look for other things to help me. We came up with electronic cigarettes. I just love my blu. Thanks for saving my life. Life is great. I enjoy walking and playing with my grand kids again. I am only 48 but before I was feeling like I was 60. This this is quite easy and streamline to use as long as you get the premium pack. The pack is really nicely designed but the blue light that flashes every time you open the pack is quite bright. The packs battery length is actually pretty good but yet i still have to plug it in every night. This thing is nice and i enjoy using it. I purchased the non nicotine packs and enjoy the habit of smoking and this this is actually working for me.

This brand was hands down my favorite. Problem was, with the regular and premium kits, I was going through like 4 carts a day. Although the taste was great, there wasn't much of a TH after the first couple puffs. The vapor was thick and they are definitely the hippest looking e-cigs around, but I was going through batteries too quickly. Finally, I sprung for the Premium100 starter kit and wow - just what I was looking for. They are a bit bigger, but still look cool, and you get that awesome taste of this brand with major throat hits and vapor, and the batteries last 2x as long! The Premium100 are the way to go.

Service Cost/Value I purchased Blu because it seemed like the best value for the money; my problem lies mostly with two things. The vapor and amount of use of the flavored cartridges is poor, the vapor is almost non existent, and the cartridge last only the amount of 4-5 cigarettes compared to the advertised (and that the regular tobacco delivers) 1 and 1/2 packs. The battery life is probably my biggest annoyance, for me it seems to lack only the same amount that it takes to recharge a battery, so during the day it feels as if you are constantly swapping out the batteries. I plan on trying another product to compare it with, so while I am not overly pleased I am not throwing out my Blu yet.

Service Cost/Value So I ordered these hoping to kick the smelly, tar-ridden butts that have plagued me for over 10 years, and to my surprise, they really help! I ordered the original black starter kit and received it rather quickly. There was one down side, some if not all of the cartridges leaked during shipping. I loathe menthol and all of the flavors tasted like it. I talked with customer service and they promptly gave me a $12 credit, which i used to expedite shipping of my next 4 packs. I just got the 4 new flavors in, Pina Colada, Vanilla, Java, and Regular, and I am in love! The vanilla is just smooth and soothing. The pina colada has a nice sweet taste, but not overwhelming. The classic feels like a good smoke without the smell. The java is nice and strong with a great aroma. There were some I didn't like, though. Cherry tasted like Robitussin cough syrup, and of course menthol is just... menthol. Overall I rate it 4.5 for a low battery life, but it is a great product and customer service is top notch.

You can buy cartridges with less Nicotine down to zero if you wish and totally remove Nicotine intake all together. I think they will replace my analog tobacco cigs totally and the e-Cigs taste way better and are surprisingly similar to smoking a tobacco cigarette, lots of smooth flavor and you get that inhaling sensation and very enjoyable. I can't wait to try other flavor cartridges and try the Full Flavor Magnificent Menthol, which remain temporarily out of stock (still). You can buy cartridges at Walgreen Stores and web sites. Service Cost/Value After lots of reviews I picked Blu and I was very happy for a long time (5 months) I even upgraded to the lager size since I was a pack a day smoker for 18 years and was getting tired of recharging so often but I did have some problems. First the cord for my charger never worked out of the box but they replaced it no problem, then my battery wasn't holding charge as long so they replaced that too no problem, and sometimes the cartridges didn't last as long as they should or leaked halfway through but I had read people saying all of these things about every product and figured it was just something I'd have to live with until someone figures out a solution. But the flavor I liked in the strength I needed was out of stock a lot so I got other flavors that I like but might not be in the mood for; however then I had three more batteries have the same issue and they were out of stock of all flavors even ones I didn't like in my strength and that was when I left Blu!!! On the other hand now that I have tired other companies Blu is still the best tasting by far so I am keeping an eye out to see if they ever fix whatever is going on with the company to make them go from great to a hassle (I also hope they take a page from other companies and make universal cartridges because if it weren't for the fact that I had to buy new sizes for each size battery I would give a 4.5 on cost./value). I will say I've only had one issue with the disposable ones that they sell at Walgreens so whenever I run into a problem and don't have anything to smoke I will run out to get one of those instead of analog cigs! Also I should say that I got my starter pack for Christmas and had my last ever analog cigarette the first week of January thanks to Blu!

I have tried 5 or 6 different e-cigs in the past year and this model far surpasses the rest. I love the variety of flavors and the design is elegant. If other e-cigs with propylene glycol have made your lunges hurt this is the company for you. Blu has more flavor choices, better vapor, & is cheaper. The cartridges last longer than his do also. I love the menthol, cherry and my fav is vanilla. Want a good quality, good tasting ecig? Buy BLU!!!!!

Was a pack a day smoker since the age of 14 and have not smoked an old fashioned cig in 9 months. I was using the 51's brand that you buy at Tobacco Outlet. After dumping money on buying new ones because it burnt out constantly and the refill carts were just the juice, the actual cartonizer (sp?) was permanent. Now that I have blus, you get a new cartonizer / vaporizing mechanism so it does not get that burnt taste. As with all e cigs, I have a had a couple problems with a bad cart or irritated by charging... but to me, being able to actually quit sucking in all that tar from reg cigs is everyting. I love the taste of my blu, maybe a little too much. I really love mine and recommend. Day 5 and carts are just about gone. As I've been informed about bad carts, one of the five were bad. Good experience with the other four. I have been using it too much and I think that's why. It's like a new toy. When I get the carts I ordered I'll try to use in moderation and be better able to compare. I smoked about 15-18 analog a day.( A little more with drinks). Have not bought a pack since. I did have to call cust-srv. Got the info I needed quickly and resolved my problem. So far great product. Isiah commented on May 26 2012: Try V2. As with most of these products, the cartridges do not last as long as advertised, but you wont be disappointed with the battery life or the flavors from V2 [except for cherry. It tastes too waxy. like your smoking a cherry cough drop flavored lip gloss]. The thing I really like about the V2 battery is that it lasts for a long time and is compatible with cartridges from other companies. I mix V2's batteries with carts from a company called Premium [Premium's vanilla will knock your socks off]. Whatever you do, do not try Green Smoke. I can't emphasize that enough. I returned my Green Smoke kit the same day I received it. The flavors made me sick to my stomach. Blu has a good product, but they really need to find a way to improve the battery life and make the cart flavor last longer. After 100 puffs or so, ur basically just inhaling unflavored nicotine vaper. I purchased the blu premium 100 pack after trying their disposables and liking them. Once I picked up a disposable, I never wanted to touch an analog cig again so when I ordered , I even paid $50 for express shipping since I was going through 1 1/2 disposables a day at $10 a pop. After getting my kit, I was excited. At first I really enjoyed it. There was tons of vapor and a good taste with the menthol. Then I tried a different cartomizer and the problems began. I noticed tht several of them (3 out of 5) had a burnt taste after only a few puffs. Also, the flavor disappeared quickly even when it wasn't burnt. I bought the 100 because they said the battery lasted longer (according to thir site, the same amount of puffs as 1 carto), but I had to charge the battery at least 3-4 times per carto. It never lasted longer than 45 minutes to an hour. The real problem was that when I first got it, the first 2 cartos seemed ok so I ordered 3 more boxes. By the time I realized the burnt taste and seeing posts that other people had the same problem, it was too late. I coudnt return them, even though i never opened them. The cartos are also expensive. $11 for a pack that realistically last about a half a pack of analogs is a bit much. And you cant refill them. I used to smoke 1 pack of cigs a day. I didn't increase how much I puff with the blu, but I was using 3 carto a day. I will say, when the cartos work, they have a good flavor at first. And you do get a lot of vapor, but it's not consistent. The pcc works well, but you better keep it charged because you will be recharging you batteries a lot. I ended up sending this back. Hopefully, it doesn't take a long time to get my refund. For the record, I ended up getting a VOLT and couldn't be happier. It costs less, battery last 3 hours, cartos have better flavor and never burn, even when it's empty, you can refill for .47 a carto and was quick shipping (got after 2 days w/ no extra charge) LTag commented on May 13 2012: Can I use the kr808d-1 with the original blu starter kit??
