EverSmoke Electronic Cigarette Review

The first time I took a pull from the manual battery I blew out the largest cloud of vapor I have ever exhaled. Not only was I surprised, I was in shock for a moment.

EverSmokeMy EverSmoke review package arrived a few days ago. Just in time to help convince those of you who are thinking of purchasing a starter kit for yourself or someone else, for the rapidly approaching New Year. Usually, this is the most common time of year when traditional, tobacco smokers think about their habit, life style and health in general and start to realize just how much it effects themselves, close family members and personal relationships. Would you like to assure your New Year’s Resolution to save money, become healthier or quit smoking is locked in? If you have the desire to succeed this coming year and know you need to purchase an e-cigarette kit, but can’t quite make up your mind, continue reading.

All required start up accessories arrived securely in a well-padded EverSmoke box. A fresh, white color artistically decorated box with a green swirl on it. The box is on the smaller side and uses a magnetic closure, allowing for reuse or storage of the many accessories available for purchase, my favorite accessory being the lanyard. Have your e-cigarette close by at all times by wearing it around your neck. I also think the portable charging pack and car lighter adapter are awesome too. More items are available on EverSmokes website. The back of the box lists a toll free number to recycling your e-cigarette unit when the time comes to upgrade. Which shows EverSmoke is an environmentally conscience company, I’d like to think it’s important to think about the environment and what happens to items not in use anymore.

EverSmoke gives plenty of options when looking for perfect device to choose. It seems they give more options than most e-cigarette brands. Options available include longer batteries which last longer, three battery color choices, manual or automatic battery operation and six nicotine flavor choices. Flavor cartridges come in multiple nicotine strengths, including Zero nicotine. Not to mention all the flavor cartridges are made with a ceramic anti-drip system in place. No need to worry about any flavored juice dripping from the atomizer and wasting any portion of juice. EverSmoke has thought of everything to provide an authentic, vaporizing experience for their customers. While researching, I found EverSmoke’s price range for a starter kit is similar to most brands. Specifically, brands who also offer a similar orange crystal tip that glows with each vaporizing pull, which EverSmoke also includes on all of their batteries. Personally, I find the crystal tip to be a more elegant or sophisticated way of vaporizing, plus it looks awesome in a dimly lit space.

First, I charged the manual battery which boasts a larger puff of vapor, simply because it must be primed before each use. Priming means a tiny black button, located on the battery, must be pushed down for two seconds before and during each complete inhale and then released, upon cessation of your pull. The first time I took a pull from the manual battery I blew out the largest cloud of vapor I have ever exhaled. Not only was I surprised, I was in shock for a moment. I’m not exaggerating or making false accusations, I truly could not believe what type of thick, dense vapor had just been blown from my mouth. Not only once, but continuously with repeated use. In a moment I’ll explain why EverSmoke creates such large vapor clouds.

Lastly, I charged up the Automatic Battery, it’s simple to use and the most requested type of battery thus far. Simply screw your chosen nicotine cartridge on the battery and begin to inhale as usual. It takes about two pulls to prime any automatic battery before the vapor will become consistently thick. The automatic battery also provided the same type of consecutive, large vapor clouds. It seemed the exhaled vapor was a tiny bit less dense than the manual option; still it was a hardly noticeable difference.

I’m especially impressed with how both of the batteries feel.  In weight and width, both the longer battery and regular length feel comfortable, neither feel heavy or uncomfortable to hold. I also have to mention, the filters or atomizers are the same shade of most traditional cigarettes, a light brown. It seems that even the smallest details where thought of for the EverSmoke Brand.

It’s no coincidence that I’ve been continuously exhaling huge vapor clouds from my EverSmoke E-Cigarette. They are currently the only e-cigarette brand to use Vapor Max Technology, it’s exclusive to EverSmoke. Meaning you won’t find this type of vapor technology in any other e-cigarette. Vapor Max technology ensures each pull from your e-cigarette is the same as the first, meaning you will exhale the same large amount of vapor each and every time you take a pull from your EverSmoke e-cigarette.

In conclusion, I completely enjoyed my EverSmoke e-cigarette. Every detail of EverSmoke E-Cigarettes provided the highest quality of smoking any e-cigarette user would want to enjoy. In my opinion it’s the best brand you could choose for someone new to vaporizing too. The realistic points of this brand make it a superior choice as a beginner’s starter kit, as well as a welcomed realistic change for the veteran e-cigarette user.

Vegetable Glycerin VS Propylene Glycol in E-Cigarettes. What is the Difference?

Quick Links: Electronic Cigarettes with VG | Electronic Cigarettes with PG

While relaxing, vaporizing with your favorite e-cigarette, have you ever wondered what you’re inhaling? If the vapors aren’t quite considered “smoke”, what exactly is blown out after each puff and more importantly are the ingredients safe for human consumption. Keep reading for more insight about e-cigarette, liquid ingredients and a popular misconception about one e-liquid specifically.

Electronic cigarette users know the two liquids used to make those thick, clouds of vapor are: VG or Vegetable Glycerin, derived from the carbohydrates of plant oils and PG or Propylene Glycol which is an Organic Compound. Basically, that means PG is made from organic or natural materials in a laboratory, by chemists.

Most e-cigarette companies use a mixture of both liquids in their cartridges, Vegetable Glycerin being at a maximum of twenty percent and the remaining percentage from Propylene Glycol. It’s possible, if you’re a more hands on type of person or just someone whom prefers to use Vegetable Glycerin, to purchase VG only liquid and refill your Nicotine Cartridges on your own, but that’s another topic we’ll touch on some time soon. The most common reason for the split in Vegetable Glycerin and Propylene Glycol is simple, VG is thicker. A thicker e-liquid will not work as well during long term usage and a daily vaporizing routine, simply because it adds stress to the atomizer.

Vegetable Glycerin comes in contact with the atomizer, the part of an e-cigarette that turns the liquid into vapor. Over time, atomizers used with an exclusive mixture of Vegetable Glycerin have a greater tendency to last half as long as an e-cigarette that uses a mixture of both liquids, simply because the atomizer must work harder to turn the thick, Nicotine laden liquid in to a vapor. Therefore, adding stress to that specific part of an e-cigarette.

Of the two liquids used, one has more controversy and rumor surrounding it than the other. Yes, Propylene Glycol has become the focus of many threads and blog posts. Some individuals believe PG is a harmful substance which shouldn’t be in e-cigarettes. I have to admit, I too was one of the skeptics whom believed the rumors circulating online. I am however, the type of individual who will research or find the underlying matter of said rumors, especially when I also use an e-cigarette on a daily basis. The vast amount of facts I’ve uncovered, have opened my eyes and also expand my mind regarding Propylene Glycol.

Propylene Glycol is an odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, humectant. In fact, it is used in so many products used by consumers on a daily basis; it would be impossible to list them all. These products include items like, food coloring which we ingested, cosmetics worn on our skin which absorbs nearly seventy percent of everything we place on it. Most interestingly, Propylene Glycol is used as a solvent for injectable pharmaceuticals. A common reaction to using any e-cigarette containing PG is a sore throat. Humectants absorb liquid, therefore slowly dehydrating your body, especially your throat, where the vapors from an e-cigarette first come in contact with your body. A simple remedy is to consume more liquids and use throat lozenges too. This uncomfortable reaction usually lasts only a few weeks, until you’re accustomed to vaporizing.

Simple research using Wikipedia has led me to the conclusion that any controversy surrounding Propylene Glycol, is due to the use of a similar word, Propylene Glycerol. Most individuals are inadvertently confusing the two words Glycol and Glycerol. This misunderstanding has been creating a frenzy of health conscience people and people who use e-cigarettes in general, to ponder the safety of its use in e-liquids.  There we have it folks,  any lingering  fears about how Propylene Glycol may be unsafe for use in e-cigarettes can be put to rest.

E-Cigarette Ban in Boston. Is a Nation Wide E-Cigarette Ban Next?

There is an elusive connection to using an e-cigarette, the ability to smoke or vaporize where ever whenever. Many users have claimed, puffing on an electronic, Nicotine delivering system lessens the discomfort of quitting cold turkey. Each pull, calms the nagging urge to smoke a traditional cigarette and e-cigarettes have been able to make it easier to disassociate themselves with traditional smokers as well.

Some time ago, e-cigarette users were able to “smoke” or vaporize when and where the feeling prompted them. The exhilarating feeling of being free to grab a quick Nicotine fix anyplace you wanted to, is slowly fading away. Currently, it seems a ban on e-cigarette use is popping up in a new town, office or airplane on a daily basis. Could it be that e-cigarette users may soon find themselves standing on street curbs, with tobacco smokers, wondering what happened?
Only a few days ago Boston, Massachusetts Health Commission put their foot down, banning the use of e-cigarettes in workplaces or any place traditional smoking is not currently allowed. Boston is not the first town to ban e-cigarettes. Merely one of close to a dozen Massachusetts towns has already enacted a similar ban. The ban included a stipulation that ecigs may only be sold to Adults of 18 years of age or older. Age Identification seems to be a general standard, followed by most stores selling e-cigs currently. Generally speaking, e-cigarettes deliver Nicotine, an addictive substance, which should only be sold and used if you are 18 years of age or older. The age specification part of the ban is understandable and widely accepted. However, what has E-cigarette users in Boston up in arms about the new ban Is that, e-cig users are now being told they can only use their e-cigarettes in certain places. Those places are the same sites set aside for traditional tobacco smokers.

Traditional tobacco users are forced to stand outside or in designated smoking areas because there had been ample amounts of proof provided by the FDA that proves the exhaled smoke, is and can be linked to serious life threatening illnesses. With electronic, Nicotine delivering systems, there has been very little proof provided to the Food and Drug Administration proving the vapors are harmful to any individual standing in breathing distance of vapors, coming from an e-cigarette. Therefore, unless e-cigarettes are to be marketed to the general public as a device used to quit smoking, the FDA cannot regulate them. It seems logical that if the FDA cannot regulate e-cigarettes, then they will ban them. The FDA seems to be looking at e-cigarettes in an old fashioned way. Have you ever heard that saying, “If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck. It must be a duck”. The same principles are being applied to e-cigarettes, they look like a traditional cigarette and you blow “smoke” out of them. However, they are not a regular tobacco cigarette. It is unfortunate that the Food and Drug Administration thinks e-cigs must be harmful for others next to you and anyone who might inhale the exhaled vapors. These bans are due to the lack of evidence to prove other ways.

At the current ban rate, it appears Massachusetts may become the first State to completely ban e-cigarette smoking, completely. The general feeling in Boston and most places an e-cig ban is enacted, is that there is little, to no proof that e-cigarettes pose any type of threat to individuals who may incidentally breathe the exhaled vapors. If Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t veto that bill to ban e-cigarettes, only a short time ago. The Golden State may have been the first to ban e-cigarette use in public, completely.

It is an unfair move by the Health Commission in Boston and residents aren’t too happy about the new ban. It is imperative that people who not only reside in Boston, Massachusetts but in all towns throughout the Nation speak up. Currently, Petitions can be signed to stop the ban of e-cigarettes, we have to protect our freedom. Sign petitions, make petitions, and get involved. Of course, writing letters and calling local Governors and State Officials work just as well, but keep in mind nothing will happen if we sit back and do nothing to stop e-cig bans; we must continue to spread our disgruntled views. We are the people, we do have a voice. Unless, everyone starts to act productively, reducing the spread of e-cigarette bans popping up all over our Nation, bans may become worse. E-cigarette bans, that may end up in your home town. Do what you can today and get involved, let’s not let Boston happen to our town.

Holiday Gift Idea – Gifting an E-Cigarette Starter Kit

It’s that time of year again. The wonderful and sometimes dreaded, Holidays. Most people are scattered through store isles searching for that “perfect” gift for their loved ones. Wondering, should they buy that certain item that has been hinted about for the past few weeks or should they give a gift that’s a bit more practical. If your loved one is over 18 years of age or older, currently smokes traditional cigarettes and has mentioned how much they would love to quit smoking or openly complains about the rising cost of tobacco products, you may want to continue reading this post for some insight.

While your pondering which gift to give, allow me to provide advice on gifting an e-cigarette starter kit, a more practical gift. If your unsure of going “all out” on the Deluxe Starter Kit, e-cigarette brands now sell Starter Kits with most budgets in mind. Still don’t know which to choose then take a look at all the electronic cigarette reviews here. Start with the most inexpensive kit, choose a brand that has plenty of positive feedback. Either way, your gifting your loved one the opportunity to try something new. Chances are, if your loved one hasn’t tried electronic cigarettes, they are likely curious about them and possibly haven’t gotten around to buying one for themselves, or are just in the habit of purchasing traditional cigarettes and may not know where to buy an e-cigarette kit.

Smoking tobacco in general, is not a healthy habit to start and yes e-cigarettes still contain the addictive substance, Nicotine. However, It is easier to help a loved one quit smoking or reduce their Nicotine intake, when we play along. In a sense, I mean offer a lesser of the two evils, as a substitute for traditional tobacco. Give the gift of an e-cigarette starter kit. The difference with e-cigarettes is that the cartridges can be purchased in Nicotine levels, which in time may be lowered if the smoker wants to quit. Or if they have no intention to quit and feel content smoking, then perhaps using an e-cigarette will help reduce harmful tar and chemicals from being ingested.

Gifting an e-cigarette to a traditional smoker does two things. It offers a chance to try something new, most people love to try new things especially when they didn’t have to pay for it themselves. Secondly, gifting an e-cigarette plants a seed. A seed that grows and soon your loved one may see how traditional cigarettes, are unhealthy for our bodies. With that seed planted, family members can offer advice on lowering the nicotine in the cartridge refills and eventually quitting, if quitting had been mentioned before. Possibly, as a New Year’s Resolution. Also, you could point out the simple truth that they will be saving money. Money that could easily be used to buy themselves or even you, a vacation or similar item that couldn’t be afforded before.

So, I hope I’ve given you some insight into purchasing an e-cigarette kit, for your special someone this Holiday Season. I can almost guarantee.. you’ll receive a response that sounds something like this, ” Oh wow, I wanted to try this out.” Many people love to smoke cigarettes. Weather they see it as an alternative to eating too much or a relaxation method, it’s up to the individual person. If you can assist in making an unhealthy habit more appealing and less life threatening, why not gift an e-cigarette kit this Holiday Season.
