| | My aunt was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in oct 2010... the day we were told it was cancer we quit and ordered our smoke51 duo... took a couple of weeks to come and i thought i would die with all the stress that was going on with my aunt. We lost her in March 2011... My husband and i have been using it every since! a box of 5 will last us months because we have gotten to only use it socially. This product has helped us to no longer smoke around or smell bad around our 5 young kids. we quit before turning 30 and because of this product our lives will be saved. We had some problems at first but took it in to the local mall to the stand and they replaced the battery for free and showed us how to properly use it. We have replaced the battery 3 or 4 times and about to take one of the up there again because I keep washing them in the washing machine... and they give me no problems! we have 2 and i recommend it to EVERYONE who comes around us. i now cannot stand the smell of others smoking and my taste buds are incredible! I can actually smell! EVERYTHING! please dont listen to the horrible reviews and think about your life!! if the monthly thing is overcharging or something then don't go that way... order a little at a time and use the promotions codes cuz every month its something different off (30% right now) PLEASE TRY IT OUT!! |

| | I've been using the e-Cigarette for about 2 weeks now and I am completely satisfied with the flavor, feel and realness of having a smoke.
I actually marvel at the thought that I'm not getting any of the 4000 poisons going into my lungs including the tar which is the worst!
Most of all, I get the satisfaction of the nicotine that a normal cigarette would give me.
Funny things happen on trains and in stores when people challenge me as I am "smoking". They look shocked and just walk away after saying wow, I was fooled!
Thanks also for the excellent service. In my "other life" I was a customer service consultant among my other hats and I would have to give you an A !!! |

I want to quit smoking and buy the Electronic Cigarette. I started my new life with the E-Cigarette yesterday. Excellent products.
I like the taste as well and the cartridges always line up correctly with the batteries.
I love this E-Cigarette and feel it satisfies my cravings.
I have two kids in their early teens. I want to see them graduate high school.
My clothes and hair don't smell. I'm not offending people and I'm not coughing.
It actually help me stop smoking because I have no smoked an actual cigarette today. I'm so proud of myself.
I would recommend this product to anyone who really wants to quit. |

When I moved to Florida, they could not even tell me where they sold them for me to get refills. This e cigarette sucks. I have now switched to cirrus e cigarette and have not had any problems. They even replaced my battery when it was run over by a car. I love the taste as well and the cartridges always line up correctly with the batteries. |

Havent had as much issues with battery as i have seen on comments but they dont last as long as you would like I would req having at least 2 so you can have one while charging the other.
Vapor is fine last about a day not 2 as 2 packs would. Taste of vapor is nothing like a cig might be good but is what kills it for me .
but at $39 and $5 for refills is a great alt. Inside my house nad where I cant smoke in public.

| | I got mine as a 'free gift' through another site. I was really hesitant at first, but I am happy to say I have not smoked a real cig in 4 days!! I just need a couple of puffs of the e-cig instead of having to smoke a whole cigarette. My biggest fear was getting stressed out and running to the store to buy a pack, but I haven't done it yet (and I've been stressed). My clothes & hair don't smell, I'm not offending people and I'm not coughing!! I have smoked for 33 years; I'm 50 and I have 2 kids in their early teens...I want to see them graduate high school without dragging an O2 tank with me. |

| | I originally though about buying vapor cigs many times but never acted on it until I saw the people in the mall smoking them - they approached me so I was able to get it for a lower price. I was a little iffy about it at first - all the charging and switching cartridges can be annoying.. but about a month after buying it I got used to it and kept forgetting to buy packs of cigs. After I quit smoking tobacco completely my original battery died and I was still smoking the nasty tobacco flavored cartridges, so I went back to the kiosk where I originally bought it where it was replaced with a brand new better quality model quickly and easily, free of charge and bought some new flavored cartridges. I agree that the product is a little pricey, but so far I have probly had about a 10% return on it from the packs of cigarettes I havent bought. I havent even thought twice about smoking a cig since I got the vanilla, grape and cherry flavored cartridges, and enjoy not smelling like cigs or coughing up a storm every day. I haven't had any problems with the company.. and I'm confident that with continued upkeep, this prouct will erradicate cigaretts from my life completely. I would recommend this product to anyone who really wants to quit. |

My only issue is that for no apparent reason, one of my batteries stopped working. It was promptly replaced. I find the flavore of the tobbaco to be terrable and the menth. to be tolerable. I am using the 36nic and feel it satisfies my cravings. I am happy with the vape ammount but some liquid comes out the end. |

| | Bought one at a local store yesterday. It's a poor design as I have to hold it in a particular way to get any vapor. The menthol cartridges aren't menthol flavored unless you use a dead battery and suck really hard; then you can taste it. No idea what the battery life looks like so far. Main complaints is that I can't get any nicotine out of it, it has increased my cravings, and the closest thing to feeling good is when I go into oxygen debt trying to actually get some nicotine into my system. First e-cig and it's just horrible.
Would never buy again, nor would I suggest it. |

| | DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I bought one at a mall when I was on vacation. The guy who sold it to me said it had a life time warranty and I could send it in to the company if it ever broke. Well, guess what? 1 month and 8 days later, it broke. I sent an email to the company (as directed on their website) and have not heard from them. Tried calling the toll-free number....no answer. I GOT RIPPED OFF!! BEWARE when purchasing this product. |
| Scott and Janae are absolutely correct! I bought this contraption and 5 cartridges for what I thought was a $5.95 one time charge. The next thing I know I am getting 2 separate charges for $1.95 each, and each would have gone up to about $50 had I not called to inquire and then cancel the "services". Then I get a $110 charge which apparently means the original deal of $5.95 was total BS. And the best part: if you call to get your money back, you are "requested" to return the product or you will get charged again! The e-cig: fine, works as advertised. The company selling it: total crap, wouldn't trust them to take out my garbage. |
| Smoke 51 sucks and their 4.95 starter kit is a scam. They tell you it is all free and then charge and charge you over and over again. Beware please -Scott |
| I AGREE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!! The quality is absolutely horrible. The taste is awful. I tried to change the cheap plastic cartidges and the juice just leaked out everywhere. I tried to call customer service and they were AWFUL! They wouldn't let me return the product, they wouldn't refund the exorbitant autmatic charge that was burried in the fine print when I ordered it ($110 for ONE battery and 5 cartridges), in fact, their ONLY offer was to send me more product and charge me more money! An absolutely AWFUL, DISHONEST, and LOW-QUALITY company. |

If you read the instruction booklet it comes with its really not to hard to maintain and operate. | I had gotten the smokes51 trio as well, it does taste different than a regular cigarette but thought it was a good replacement. The problem was with the auto ship program which was not divulged in the original purchase of this product.I called in July to cancel the "FREE TRIAL" Offer and was assured that it was cancelled. Looke on the credit card bill for the number to contact and the number listed is not correct. If you have to contact them, the number is..1-877-766-5306. GOOD LUCK to any one who has to deal with them over the phone, I was on the phone for over 20 miuntes getting this free trial recancelled. I will be contacting the credit card comapany and requesting a block on this company just to be on the safe side,. First purchase was July of 2011 and got billed in Sept and Oct. I have also found another electronic cigarette that I like even better than the smokes 51 and they are truly easy to deal with and no shipping fees, reasomable cost as well they are

Sell them in my shop for 40.00 for the big starter kit with the plug in charger (not the usb), battery, and 15 cartridges. The cartridges I got do last for about 1 pack of cigs each cartridge. | | I saw an add for an E-cigg on this website, clicked on it and was take to a link for a $4.95 'pay only shipping/handling' limited time offer for the 51 Trio E-cig. You know how you sometimes order things online and on the 'order statement/number/tracking confirmation' sheet there is some information about the purchase? Well not for this product. Within a day or two I was getting strange phone calls from an unknown number 3-4-5 times in a row and no voicemail left. 2 days later I finally answered and it was someone from this company confiming my order and wanting to see if i would sign up for some other offer; I said no and asked how come you repeatetly call me without leaving a message if it was so important? The woman didnt have a thing to say.
I wound up getting the product in the mail about 2 weeks ago and started to use it about a week ago (My plan was to use an E-cig to help me quit real ones after labor day). I've been using it for the past 7 days and the product works just fine although the cartridges don't last as long as I thought or per the kits instructions.
I am down to my last cartridge today so I went online probably 45 minutes ago to the smoke51.com website to order more and googled 'smoke 51 trio discount code' to see if I could find a discount to use for my order and was brought to this page. I've been reading all of the comments especailly Alex's on 8/12-23 and promptly checked my credit card recent activity and sure enough, there is a new charge for $109.67!!!! I cannot believe this company is so blatently scamming so many people!
I didnt see or read anything about any trial offer details or promotional small print when I was ordering this product or in the mail when i finally got the product. I just called the number Alex wrote and about 3 other numbers that are listed on the smoke51.com website and office hours are closed. I am going to call again tomorrow morning and try to put a stop to this and hopefully get credited back. |

| | DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!
They lure you in with a "free" trial for which they claim you only pay shipping and handling and lasts 30 days. The so-called "free" trial is actually 14 days and begins the day they ship. You practically have to turn around and send it back the same day you received it to return it to them in time if you don't like it. And here is the big catch, if you don't return it, they automatically charge you $109.67 (compare the wimpy kit they give you with anything else on the market for that price and you can tell its a scam) and sign you up for a subscription service which sends you new product (at ridiculously expensive rates) every two weeks. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THEY WILL NOT EMAIL YOU THIS INFORMATION. I got burned for nearly $170.00. I called them and threatened to file a claim with my bank (a threat I intend to follow up on) and they agreed to refund me $40.00. But this is seriously a lousy product anyway. It doesn't last very long. While they claim it lasts for up to 200 puffs, its more like 70, equal to maybe a third a pack of cigarettes. The quality is lousy and you pay overinflated prices for it. This product is a scam. It's overpriced, poorly functioning, and has a very underhanded business model. I didn't even get the model that I thought I was ordering (the two piece kind is what I wanted but I somehow ended up with the three piece). Want my order #? So do I! They never sent me one or an email confirmation for that matter and won't give it out over the phone. |

| | Overall, a great purchase.
I bought my Duo from a mall kiosk despite all of the negative reviews on here. I had a limited amount of time to stop smoking, and didn't want to wait for an order to get here in the mail, so I haggled and got a pretty good deal with the kiosk dude.
Cons:
-The cartridges are more expensive than others.
-When the cartridges start to run out, they get a flavor that I can only describe as burned-smoldering wood (tobacco flavored cartridges). The throat-hit is a bit harsh at this stage too.
-The carrying case I bought with the kit does not hold a "100" size battery with a cartridge attached. The cartridges also do not fit inside unless you take off the stoppers.
-The cartridges do not last me "1 1/2 - 2 packs." I barely smoked 1 pack per day and I will go through 1 1/2 cartridges per day (same with my ProSmoke). This could be due to the inherent nature of an e-cig, in that you don't light it up and burn it down to a definite ending point (the filter), so there is nothing visual to tell you you're done.
Pros:
-Excellent "throat hit" and amount of smoke.
-Very simple setup. Each cartridge is an atomizer and they're closed systems, so you don't have to worry about the atomizer pulling the wad out of the cartridge. Unlike the ProSmoke (which I also reviewed on here), the atomizer does not overheat.
-I bought a regular and a "100" size battery. The regular battery was dead on arrival, so I took it back and they exchanged it no questions asked. I really have no idea what "Robert Macke" was saying above about them not honoring guarantees anymore.
***
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. If you do decide on this, do the right thing and ASK THE KIOSK WORKER FOR A DEMONSTRATION AND INSTRUCTIONS. Just reading the reviews on here, I am convinced that if more people did that one simple thing this product would have another star or more higher rating.

After 3 trips back to store called main company- located in Ft Lauderdale- and local franchise owner to complain. Offered no restitution and were rude. Do not buy from kiosks at Vero Beach or Melbourne Malls as staff is unprofessional even though manager Chase Spencer has" an MBA from the University of Florida". (NOT impressed) THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DO NOT BUY. I will continue to encourage my patients to try e-cigs to quit smoking, just not this brand. Look forward to FDA regulating these as one box of replacement filters had sticker on box states "NOT INTENDED FOR SALE IN THE UNITED STATES." |

| | Terrible experience with the company (LUXE-CIG) that offered me the trial offer for the shipping ONLY. Later I was charged $109.67 on my credit card. Nowhere was that amount explained in the terms and conditions. The manufacturer does not want to honor my discontent :( so they should be more careful who they supply to. |
| Really, it DOES tell you all the conditions and such where you put in your address. It's not even that small really. |
| Just to follow-up on my earlier post. I called the Vapor-Corp number and got bounced around regarding the 'Free Trial'. Ended up being told by the rep that the trial period was 14-days. Considering I didn't receive the 4.95 S&H Smoke-51 Trio starter kit until two-weeks after I placed the order pretty well meant there's no way around getting billed for the starter kit. The web-site I ordered the 4.95 S&H 'Free Kit' from was a pop-up ad when I was reviewing an e-cig article on-line. Nowhere in the on-line ad did it say anything about the brand or 'trial terms'. The on-line ad stated only 4.95 S&H and didn't say anything about a 14-day trial period after which if the kit wasn't returned within 14-days you would automatically be billed $109.67 to your credit card and you would automatically receive re-fill kits monthly at another $69.62 each. Ironically the site didn't allow me to even choose anything regarding the type of vapor nicotine or anything. The packaged kit arrived two-weeks after I placed the order and had no paperwork or invoice enclosed that informed me of anything. A couple of weeks later I received a refill kit, again with no paperwork or invoice. I returned the refill kit to the sender since I definitely didn't order or expect it. Vapor-Corp did cancel my account and will refund my $69.62 once they receive the refill kit back but I have to suck-up the $109.67 for the Trio stater kit since it wasn't returned in time. I was issued a transaction number for the incident and now will see if they follow through. The phone number for the 'Trial' program return is (877) 766-5306. I learned an expensive lesson here about on-line e-cig marketing with Vapor-Corp. Their products aren't the issue here, the marketing techniques are. I will be watching this closely and hope this might help others who got bit. |
| SCAM.
Just like the posts above.
The same thing happened to me.
Its all a scam.
I signed up for a 30 day FREE trial offer.
The offer starts as soon as they debit your card for S&H.
After waiting a week for delivery, I had already lost 7 days.
A week after I received the SMOKE 51 I was Debited another
$109.67 Three weeks after receiving SMOKE 51
YES another Debit for $ 69.62
I did call and got "sorry Sir you didn't read the fine print.
Too Bad so Sad. We got your Money$$$$$$$$
Thanks A bunch SMOKE 51
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS. |
| Bob, I'm dealing with the same issue. Signed-up for the 'FREE' starter kit (Trio)for $4.95 S&H in July. Just got my credit card statement and shows a charge of $109.67 on 7/21 and 69.72 on 8/6. The billing was under the name ignitecig with a contact number 877.652-0206 on my card statement. I had received refill cartridges that I didn't order a few weeks back with no enclosed paperwork and returned them to the shipped from address. I sent an email inquiry today to Smoke 51's customer support office in Florida and will call them tomorrow to follow-up. I feel like I've been scammed and after looking at various blogs, I'm just one of many. I've been dealing with 'Totally Wicked' brand and have had no trouble getting the products and the quality and service has been great so far. |
| I purchased under same conditions on 7/13/11 and my card was charged the $4.95. On 7/27/11 another charge for $109.67 appeared. Then on 8/12/11 another charge for $69.62 appeared. |

| | I started using the 51 duo a year ago. With the first purchase of 50 cartridges to add to the starter kit, a dozen or more were defective. By the time I had used up the first 3 dozen cartridges, the battery refused to charge. I recieved a warranty replacement and purchased a spare battery from a local dealer along with a second case of cartridges. The second case has been more reliable, but battery life is worse yet. With 2 new batteries, I haven't even gotten through the first 5 boxes (25), and I'm noticing one battery will last about 90-120 minutes, while the second lasts for about 3-4 hours. I completely stop smoking when using the 51 duo, but need to have a battery charging constantly or I'm left with nothing in very a short time.
I feel the duo is a good route to go, with none of the problems associated with a seperate atomizer, however, the battery power source has been very disappointing. I'm considering another brand as soon as the remaining cartridges are used up, if the batteries will make it that far...if not, I'm still going a different route.
Oh, a little trick I learned about the duo is to be sure you do not tighten the cartridge to the batetry when you change them out. If the cartridge is too tight, you won't get any vapor from the cartridge and the cartridge will overheat. This causes a very nasty tasting vapor when you do get it to work. Also, don't draw too often or it will get too hot. I get the ebst results by simply using it more often for shorter periods, similar to smoking half of a cigarette. This seems to allow the cartridge heating element to cool down before it gets too hot and destroys the remaining liquid.
I haven't dealt with on-line customer service, so I can't give a response to it, but will say that the dealer I've gone through has mostly had representatives which do not know the product very well at all, unfortunately. The manager was always very helpful and seems to know exactly what I needed when ever I came to visit. |
| This company is DECEITFUL!!!!! I wish I had read all these reviews before I ordered my supposedly $4.95 trial pack!! I now have another charge of 109.67 and the company tells me I should have read more closely!! I have since canceled my credit card as I do not want any more unauthorized charges and also disputing this charge!!!!! PS when I try to call back they hang up on me!! |

| | I've had the Duo for six weeks, and though it has a lot of problems, it works & I love it. Of 25 cartridges, 7 have been total duds & taste just like the dirty socks that "real" cigarettes are similar to now. The remaining 18 have been fine, but most of those were vanilla, chocolate & coffee, flavors available only with the 1.5 hour drive to the retailer. Customer service is about nonexistent, but the Duo is fine when customer service isn't needed - otherwise you're stuck with a pricey diversion. I like it enough to stick with it though, at least for now and while I research other brands. It was wonderful to be relaxed in an airport instead of looking for a way to assuage the addiction : ) |

| | My first experience with an e cig. Am decades long smoker.
Trial of Fifty One Trio VERY disappointing. Max 2 visable vapor exhalations per refill- even on fully charged battery.
Ordered menthol 24 mg, but strength no where near that, and NO menthol taste.
A number of refills were complete duds.
Will never purchase again!
Awaiting new starter kit of another brand. |

| | Love It! Tons of vapor, clean, sweet taste. The first one I got was a dud but it was replaced by the retailer at the mall without incident and he threw in an extra box of cartridges for my troubles. The battery lasts all day and I have yet to change a cartridge but I am not a heavy smoker. |

| | Maybe if you people would READ the booklet, you'd find your problem(s). The first cartridge (on the cig when you purchase it) is a "dummy". You have to put a fresh one on it to begin. Mine was charged already. I charge overnight, and use mine ALL DAY. I was a heavy smoker since age 15 (I'm now 62), and I haven't had a "real" cig since I purchased this at our local Smoke Shop. (If you read the book, when you first put on a cartridge, hold it upright so the liquid drips down to the atomizer. It may take a few puffs to get started...mine did. But I didn't freak out. I puffed, then waited awhile to try again, and it was great!) READ THE FREAKIN' MANUAL! |

| | Bought my first Trio from a local shop in January 2011. Dud. Original was replaced. Poor. Am now on my third. Only marginally better. Cartridge life/price is wholly unjustified. Have switched to another (and much less expensive) brand. This product is overpriced and under-performing. |

| | I have had my Smoke 51 cigs for 2 weeks now. they are so awesome!! I would almost go as far as to say they are BETTER than regular sigs. You can use them ANYWHERE, in a cab, in the mall, waiting for your table at a restaurant, airport, etc. It comes with a cool card you can hand to people who question you, explaining to them that it's OK for you to be using it at any location so you don't have to sound like a broken record. Smoke 51 has thought of EVERYTHING!! the cigs are really easy to use and feel very much like "the real thing". My brother used these to quit smoking 3 years ago and has never gone back. So far, I think I'll be able to do the same. I am so excited to be free from that nasty, costly addiction!! |

| | this is the 3rd day i have used my trio smoke fifty-one cigarette. I am really liking it. I dont smell like smoke and I can breath much better. I am really happy with my decision of the smoke fifty-one. the only problem is the cartridges dont last as long as they say. I use one a day. one cartridge equals about maybe 3 cigaretts. but I am still very satisfied. |

| | I have a dou 51, and like many here I thought I got ripped off, but have changed my opinion after realizing the problem with the product my be the instructions are terrible.
If you have a Dou and your frustrated: Look at your Dou battery you'll notice to pin holes at base of the thread. These seem to act like an air intake, and if you snug down your filters, you may block these intakes (poor design really). Resulting in a small amount of vapor per puff, and using the e-cig felt more like suckin' your thumb than smoking a cigarette,
If you have the feeling your sucking a frozen milkshake through a straw, loosen you cartridge a tad (the smallest amount... really) an see if it helps. The more you unscrew it the greater the air to Vapor ratio. I've noticed much more vapor, less cartridge failures, and longer battery life (shorter burn per puff, since I get more vapor).
It has totally changed my opinion of the product. I have no doubt there are better e-cigs out there. I bought it at a mall kiosk after all. But I think it's a slightly over priced entry level e-cig. After I run though the next few packs of cartridges I may step-up to a product with better reviews, and longer battery life.
If your here doing some research, to decide which e-cigarette is best for you. I would tell you you may want to look at a few more options. The Fifty one DOU is a bit hit or miss, and it is quirky at best, and the design is a bit odd. The Green Smoke or eSmoke systems offer a similar two piece system and seem to have better reviews. They will likely by my next purchases.
In the mean time if you don't know if an e-cigatette is for you, try a disposable pack first. The same company that make the DOU, Vapor Corp., makes a product called Krave for about $20, it maybe worth a look. If you like it, then spring for one of the better guys.
I dont regret my purchase, I love the benefits of an e-cig. But I would have bought a different model if i could do it again. |

| | I have 51 duo my filters get dry after i smoke half a day, usualy i smoke 10 cigarettes a day, at the smoke dreams shope a lady sold me a jucie for 14$, she open the robber part of my catridge and dripped some jucie for me, now this litle bottle of e-jucie last me one month for 14$ no need to buy new catridges! the only problem my batteries are discharging fast and dont last all day :( |
| i recently bought my first one....got a starter pack, juice, and 6 filters for $113.00....not too bad. They have worked out great...no odor...smoked in a bar and freaked people out...haha. the replacement filters (6 of them for $13) are way cheaper than paying $35 for 6 packs of cigarettes....and taste sooo much better. Just takes a while to get use to some of it....vapor goes down...it is either the filter or out of juice. I've experience more problems with juice running out before the filter...only thrown one of those away in 3 days....and I am a pack a day smoker. |
| I ordered the starter kit online, and was soon contacted and told that I was getting additional 'services', I told the salesman I didn't want anything but the E-cig starter kit, when he got abusive I told him to cancel the order... Of course they sent it anyway and I wrote the company about them paying for the return, I haven't gotten any reply after about 2 weeks (last I checked no charge was made against my credit card, though I told them I'd contest the charge anyway)... I was going to just throw it away but decided to try it anyway, thinking maybe their product was better than the service, so I charged it with the included USB device and put a 'filter' on, I was initially pleased with the amount of vapor it produced, though it was rather weak nicotine wise... I used three of the five filters before the USB charger died, one of the filters lasted a day another a few hours another somewhere in between... so now the battery unit is dead and I have two unused filters... I don't trust this outfit or it's product and wouldn't buy from them again... |
| Hi Lisa
just go to smoke shop most of them have the e-jucie,
just 2-3 drops will last u for couple sigaretts filters do get dry
fast so use the juce its less money |
| Hey Lisa, I recommend you try purchasing your cartridges from www.safesmoke.us I also had the same issue with the dry cartridges but ever since I ordered from this website, the cartridges were amazing. They are the original smoke 51 products. |
| Hi Melena, I have a question if you don't mind...so, you have the duo, but are able to use the "juice" bottles? I'm very interested in that, because I am having a HORRIBLE time with the cartridges...every time I buy them, (5-packs) at least 1 doesn't work - the last box I bought 3 out of 5 didn't work! I'm getting very frustrated with this! Any information would be greatly appreciated! Have a nice day! |

| | Just bought the Trio and The Envy. I like them both a lot. I think its funny that so many people are complaining about false advertising. Where did you people get the idea that a cartridges were supposed to be the equivalent of a pack or even two packs of regular cigs. If you stupid people would take five minutes to read through the booklet that came with the starter kit you would see on page 14, "One atomized cartridge/filter can be smoked in about 100 inhalations, which is equivalent to approximately seven ordinary cigarettes." While this does make it an expensive product, it is in no way false advertising. At the store I go to a pack of 15 cartridges costs about $15 and each pack is the equivalent of 105 cigs (7 X 15). So for $30 bucks you get a carton plus a half a pack of cigs. Please, somebody show me any brand of real cig that is cheaper. Before you people just complain about something, at least make sure your right. It just makes you sound stupid. |
| well...if 30 filters equals 210 cigarettes..(7x30)...that is still more than a carton of regular cigarettes and almost 1/2 the price. If you want to help make your filters last longer...keep the atomizer moist with juice...I have found that to be teh solution to that problem...at least in my case...just dont use more than 4 drops at a time. |
| rand, tyler has a point about people being too stupid to read the instructions. and apparently your math skills are lacking as well, while 105 cigs may be a little over half a carton, he stated that the 15-pack costs 15 dollars, which he doubled to 30 dollars, in turn doubling the 105 cigs to 210 cigs. bet YOU feel dumb, have a nice day |
| Ummm, Tyler, before you go calling people "stupid," you might want to remove the beam from your own eye. Your math skills are less than elementary. 7 x 15 does in fact = 105 cigarettes; however, a carton of cigarettes - 10 packs - contains 200 cigarettes. Therefore, your $30 investment = approximately *one half* carton of cigarettes. :: blink blink :: |
| the reason so many people get the idea that one cartridge is equivalent to 1-2 packs of smokes is because that is what the owners manual claims each cartrige is, it also says that one package of 5 is equivalent to 1-2 cartons of smokes, however I do agree with you that there is no way that the 30min to 1hour of smoke time is anywhere near the strength of a pack. Have you heard of anyone having a hard time returning the battery if it stops working considering it says it has a lifetime warranty but doesnt leave a phone number or address |
| LOL Tyler! You are so funny, but you are also absolutely right! I bought the Fifty One duo, and really not knowing anything about e-cigs at that time, I still knew there was NO WAY 1 cartridge would be equivalent to 1 & 1/2 to 2 packs of regular cigarettes. I have to say, my only problem with this is EVERY time I buy a box of 5 cartridges, at least 1 doesn't work...I had 1 box that 3 didn't work. But, I buy them at a local tobacco store, and the gentleman who works there is nice enough to give me discounts, etc. due to this problem. I thought I didn't like the 51, until I bought a Smoke Tip...wow! What a piece of junk that was! I sent it back the same day I got it! It was absolutely HORRID!!!!! UGH! So, anyway, thank you for your common sense - hopefully people will get the point! :) |
