I quit smoking cigars with the help of Safecig in August of 2011. Had a good/bad relationship with them over the next year. Their Colombian refill is great! But, for the last 6 months or so, customer service and stock outage has gone to hell. Recently I shipped them 4 bad batteries and 2 USB chargers for replacement and, after a month, no response. I checked BBB and found that their rating is F and not I know why. Goodby, Safecig!

Ive used v2, SmokeTip, ProSmoke and but found this brand to have the best menthol flavor and a quality product.
I smoked for 40 years and haven't had an analog cig in 19 months.
for the past 10 years I smoked American Spirit menthol and was able to transition completely in about 2 weeks. I have to also say that my experience with customer service has been outstanding.

These guys pretty much invented the electronic cigarette not to mention James Cameron is the owner of the company. Trust me when I tell you that ALL the other brands you see out there are nothing but knock-offs of this product. Don't waste your time on any other brand cause your not going to find anything better, trust me - I've done my homework.

The company's CEO is John Cameron, the James Cameron's brother. Maybe this device was one of the first ecigs but it was late to switch to the cartomizer technology. So how are all the other ones now knock-offs. Also, about a year ago their customer service was non-existent. Good thing nobody else tried to copy that :)

I've used the micro and original model and I definitely prefer the original. The micro is nice because it's smaller/lighter but the battery dies much quicker than the original. I like to feel the vapor when I inhale and the micro just doesn't produce a strong enough vapor for me. It might be because the micro refills are only available in 18 mg and I typically purchase the 24 mg refills for my original this brand. Overall, it's ok but it's basically a backup e-cig for me & I use the original the majority of the time.

2 years ago I started using SafeCigs and things were great. Then the first set of problems was with customer service. They seem to be doing better lately on that count. Now, it's the quality control, or lack thereof. The new batteries aren't powerful enough to ignite the filters. This is a new problem because my oldest batteries work great. Unfortunately, all but one of them no longer works. Now, the refills are terrible. Some don't last at all; others do not even provide vapor or taste at all. This is a perfect example of a good company with a good idea not paying attention to details. Someone at SafeCig needs to contact their manufacturers and tell them to get thing right or they are fired. I can't do business with SafeCig anymore. It's a shame, because they started so well.

I agree with you! Not only THAT, I can't even get an order through now, because of something to do with being in California and their website doesn't work for proving age. I called Customer Service and they basically flipped me off verbally saying they couldn't do it either and they don't care, that California won't effect their 'bottom line'. So my investment in their 'kit' is worthless now, and my last pack of refills are 'empty' (this has happened to me twice now). I wish I could get my money back for the original kit, as it's useless to me now. And twice now I've spent money on refills that did NOT work! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service! They were good in the beginning, but got too big for their britches.

WOW. Im actually lost for words. Ive been smoking for 37 years and I never imagined that I would see the day that I would ever quit until now. I ordered my this ecig about 4 weeks ago, it arrived within about 3 days and I was so unbelievably shocked as to how it felt & looked like real smoke. I had a small problem with understanding how to use the blink portable charger and this e-cigarettes live customer service stayed on the phone with me for 45 mins and walked me though exactly how to use it. Hands down the best Customer Service I have ever experienced with ANY company, I felt like I was talking to one of my family members. I have since then reordered my refills and decided to try some of the other flavors , all I can say is try try try the Colombian, its like smoking a fresh cup of coffee, lol. A couple other updates, I walk on the treadmill now and im no longer out of breathe, I can play with my grand-kids outdoors and they dont crucify me about smoking, they even wrote a little this e-cig song about it saving my life - too cute !! I went out and bought a new car (first brand new car in 20 Years) because I couldn't stand the horrible smell of the smoke from when I used to smoke in there all the time, I didnt really notice until the salesmen pointed it out to me but the ceiling of the car I traded in was yellow :-( Needless to say I will never smoke in my new car or in general again. I also had a cleaning service come out and clean the ceilings of my house and I also painted the entire downstairs to get rid of the smoke smell. All this because of a company called this product. I read some the reviews below & they must be from this device's competitors, lol. Ill try to sum this up for everyone. Blu Cigs - Chinese Junk. Green Smoke - Chinese Junk. V2 Cigs - Chinese Junk. This brand - Owned by Titanic & Avatar Hollywood Legend James Cameron & Developed by a team of superior Engineers in California. Does that put things into perceptive now for y'all? I've been a this ecig customer for about 6 months and from what I can see they will dominate the market with their technology very very soon. Im just curious as to why James Cameron hasn't went media ballistic with this e-cigarette yet considering he has the most media power in all of Television. I got a feeling their up to something big and that's scares the hell out of the competitors which again is why I laugh at the reviews below. Take care and good luck selecting your own brand.

I've had probably the worst experience in terms of customer service I have ever had with any company I've ever purchased from. Firstly, everything is grossly overpriced for the quality of the product, and more importantly, when you email them for customer support, it takes several days to receive an answer back, and once you reply to that email, they will never ever email you back again. It's pretty terrible what happened in my situation and it's been a very long time and they have yet to respond to me, so either they don't care about their customers or they are just plain ignorant and they don't know how to run a company.

I beg of you, if you do NOT want a headache, if you don't want to be absolutely frustrated and terrible pissed off as I am currently, then do not buy from this company, I repeat, do not buy from this company!!!! all the negatives from this company do not make up for the positives.

More importantly!! I've also heard from a few insiders, that most of these reviews you see online are FAKES by this company in order to get a #1 review from certain E-CIG Review websites, which of course is completely fraud!!! Do not believe the reviews you see, this company is falsifying their reviews!!!!

Your issues will NOT be resolved when you have a problem, make sure to not purchase from this company!!

Really high variability rate when it comes to quality of cartridges. Some last awhile and taste great, but many taste funky, are weaker, and don't have as much life in them.

More importantly, the customer service is t e r r i b l e. They say products ship within 48 hours of processing, but it can take up to a week for them to process. I emailed to complain and got Zero sympathy from the company.

I do not recommend.

Safecig has a good taste and lots of vapor. Bought the original kit a few months ago. Only one order of mine was delayed due to being out of stock, but it shipped a week later. I guess they are growing fast and the customer service fell down. I don't get all the complaints. They have a customer service number and real people answer the phone. The product is really good. Sorry to hear about all the problems perople have been having. I guess I'm just lucky !!

I thought I was the only one having problems with the SafeCig. Now I know better. It started great until they sent me some original refills that were nasty. I think they were very old. Anyway, I had a hell of a time with customer service, or the lack of it. Firstly, they wouldn't even reply. Then they sent me more bad product. They tasted like burnt peanuts, not menthol cigs. Four months later after contacting the BBB they finally fixed the problem. Now, the refills don't last and when a battery went bad, the new one wouldn't work. I've sent it back. Bottom line is that they had a good product by no customer service. They let quality control go out the door and now only care about your money. First orders came in three days; don't expect them to be processed for that amount of time anymore. Shame on them.

Tried Blu Cigs and green smoke and they both fell apart in my hands. Pure Chinese Junk. I order my this device about 2 months ago and I haven't touched a real cigarette since. You can tell right off the bat that the engineering is completely different then anything else on the market. Plus Avatar Film director James Cameron is part owner of this brand company too so anything he does is usually very good. Overall I rate this ecig a 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work.

P.S the Blink recharge pack is the best !!!! I Highly Recommend it.

SafeCig is not an American product. It was designed in California, and they have an office there. However, they are not manufacured in the U.S.A. if that's important to you.

I don't understand all the poor reviews. I ordered mine last week. While it did take 2 days to ship the order, it arrived 2 days later. All my batteries work just fine, the 3 flavors I tried aren't the usual vanilla, cherry, etc kind they are interesting mixes of tobacco and other flavors and I really like them! I received everything I ordered and so far it's working as expected! Did I just get lucky? I do think the batteries could last longer.

I have yet to find a vapor cig that even compares to this e-cigarette? Are the bad reviewers perhaps using the new micro model? Every other ecig I have tried you have to suck the hell out of to get a puff, you can barely taste it when you do get a puff and the battery stops charging after a few months? I have had my this e-cig battery running for over 8mos now and I can't say enough about how much I love it--and I haven't smoked a "real" cig since I got it!

I ordered this product over a week ago and haven't heard anything about it. There is no customer service at all. I have sent 4 emails and have not heard anything. 24-48 hr processing is an absolute joke. Sure they will take your order and cash your check, but fulfilling the order is completely out of the question.
What is going on this product, this is getting ridiculous. If I could give you a worse rating for customer service, I would. If you have a back ordered product or if there is a good reason for the delay, at least be honest about it and let us know. Not saying anything does nothing but create suspicion and confusion.

This device is as close to smoking an actual cigarette as possible. I smoked for over 40 years and was able to quit within 20 using This brand. Their Columbian flavor is excellent. Everything you read in the above comments are true. No need to repeat as it all has been said. While I am grateful for quitting the company fails miserably in its customer service aspect. You can't even speak to a rep. When they do finally e-mail you back the information is vague and the demeanor is condessending The had back ordered all tips, had shipping issues with USPS and were still taking orders with out mention. The tips do not last. I just order two sets of the three pack batteries and three of the six will not charge. I asked to have them replaced and they wanted my copy of the invoice. Seriously, they have my e-mail address and can look up the order. Incidentally do you notice they need your order number to post this comment and validate the post.....Gee...No tickie ...no shirtie..If you do send any Life Time warranty item back, make sure you send it signed mail...They claimed they did not receive my item until I produced the confirmation number...funy how that changed so quickly. If anyone can recommend a new company...PLEASE POST...I hate ungrateful companies that don't realize the WE KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS...Hey SAFECIG...your NOT the only game in town

Bought the regular safecig start kit and then the Safecig Micro. The Micro is by far the best due to it's vapor, ease of use, size and looks. However it's been proven time and time again through out history that when companys customer service sucks, so does the company it self. Safecig is no exception. The various negative reviews are right on the money. The customer service is absolutly useless and in some cases makes you feel as if it's just there for show.

This product is largly designed to keep you away from smoking real cigerettes but the refills people enjoy and want to buy are never in stock. It's like a grocery store having customers come in and putting Out of stock signs on just about everything...why open for business?

This company would of dominated the market had they built a quality customer service department along with making sure they had their products in stock.

If you are lucky enough to get some of the refills you want don't bank on them all working. My last pack I had 1 prematurly burn out (No liquid), 1 was clogged and another some how bled juice out the hole and I had to toss it as it was going in my mouth. The other 4 however worked...was disappointing none the less that I paid for those other three! My 2nd battery has also just recently crapped out on me, customer service has yet to reply on day 6 now so im now looking for an alternative company. Was good while it worked.

I have been with them for 2 years. I am done with them. I put a filter on at 6pm & 3 hours later, empty. I use to go thru 1 filter a day, now im going thru 3. Batterys aren't lasting. I am charging 1 & my other battery is dead before it's done. Stay away. They use to be good but not anymore

Had a good run with it i guess. been able to stop traditional cigs for almost 4 months but no safecig seems to be missing. Placed an order 2 weeks ago that still shows processing and their service team doesnt take phone calls and will not respond to emails. I have had enough and will be switching brands once and for all. This is the 3rd time i have had issues with this in those 4 months and should have went somewhere else before. STAY AWAY from TheSafeCig.com!!!

I loved this brand when I first started using it 6 months ago I was smoking marlboro lights pack a day for 15 years. When I first started this ecig refill would last me 2 days with one cartridge, now months later I am smoking up to 3 refills a day. It seems like they are putting less and less ejuice in them. Also the customer service is horrid. The people on the phone are not connected with the email people at all! They have been out of stock for at least 3 weeks and every time I call they tell me they are expecting a shipment the next day and to check back. The email service promises to respond within 36 hours or less, I've sent emails weeks ago and have gotten no response! Great product if only they had them in stock. Bottom of site says accredited with the BBB and when I looked that up the BBB says it is not. Customer service needs to step it up never in my life have I encountered such a mess with a company. Although I love the product I would reccomend new ecig users find another company to use. Come on this e-cigarette get it together already!!!

I've been using thesafecig's product for over 6 months and I cannot believe there is a better PRODUCT on the market. Unfortunatly the customer service and problems with inventory are so terrible that Im shopping for an alternative (V2 is leading the way so far) and Im prepared to pay the $60 starter kit cost just to get away from thesafecig.
Over the phone their order dept. cannot check on order status, they direct you to email the company and then do not respond to emails. Recently they have ran out of refill cartridges over and over again.
It doesnt matter if you have the best product on the market if your customer is stuck with no refills for weeks at a time.

Wow, I'm looking at an alarming amount of negative feedback for these guys! I've smoked anywhere from a half pack to a pack of Marlboro Mediums since 1990. In November 2010 I read all the reviews and ratings of all the E-Cig brands and determined this e-cig to be the best guess, so I ordered the starter kit. It took me about 2 weeks to adjust to the taste, but I had my last regular cigarette on December 9th 2010 and haven't even wanted one since! These guys might have saved my life and my wallet with their product, no exaggerations!

In 15 months I've used 3 batteries. The filters are claimed to be the equivalent of one pack. Each filter originally lasted me 2-3 days, which was on par with me previous smoking rate. Since the filter designs were "upgraded" (I think November 2011??) I've noticed that they only last about one full day, so they obviously cut back on how much juice is being put in the filters. The packs include 2 extra filters now (7) and cost $5.00 more, but it's still just $2.50 per filter. I find that I AM paying a little more now, since I'm placing more orders (due to the decrease in filter duration)....but it IS still cheaper than cigarettes.

I've been VERY happy with this product and I will continue to be, as long as they refrain from making MORE decreases to the filter duration. If that increases then I may look into the "E-Juice" thing and fill my own filters. As for their customer service, I haven't had any reason to complain, so I have never really dealt with them on that level. My shipments have ALWAYS gotten to me at the estimated times and I've been very impressed with the product overall! The only improvements I'd like to see is that the filters go back to lasting 2-3 days (maybe a 50% increase in "juice" added?) and that they offer more discounts (3 packs for the price of 2, for example). Other than that, this product is truly a blessing! G0SAFE!!

This company is a joke. Ordered over a week ago and received an email stating product out of stock. Their customer service people work somewhere in canada and have no idea what is going on. This has to be the worst company I have ever felt with. I'm going to do a charge back on my credit card later today.

What a waste of 70 bucks. Problems filling orders bad customers service.Same problems every one else is having.. I'm Done with this product. I Got An eGo-T Ecig Vapor.. I love it.. Look Them up On You Tube..I ordered Original refills 24,18 and 14Mls. 4 refill packs all toll and it just says still processing order, No email saying they filled and shipped ,No tracking info, No Nothing but a bunch of crap telling me they passed it on to a higher up and they'll get back to me.. Well they never did..Placed Order on 1-31-12 and its 2-6-12. I guess i should have dug a lil deeper before settling for what everybody was saying the first and the best..I'm not impressed..Like i said.....Good Bye this device.....

Good product but an awful company that is running itself into the ground. Perhaps the owners should spend less time partying with hot chicks (see link) & more time fixing all of the issues within their company.I was pretty pleased when I tried this brand this past September. It was great, especially after my bad experiences w/ disposable e-cigs found at the corner store (like NJoy). Then it began (around November)-Micro re-fills never in stock, customer service ignoring me,both batteries & cartridges dying MUCH faster than they should, delivery lagging, & so forth. I had been a customer of this ecig since July of 2009 and had not had but one problem until approximately six to eight months ago. My orders are not being shipped for about three weeks. They do not tell you they are out of stock until they've had your money for about 2 weeks. Customer service is non-exist. They have a presales team that knows absolutely nothing about your order but promises you a response in 24 to 36 hours. You then receive an automatic response with a promise to respond... they never respond. I referred 4 different friends to this company when they actually had good service... I am embarrased I recommended this company. I placed an order on Jan 27th was billed on Jan 27th and to date have not even heard from the company on my order status. I got the same old run around I have for the last 4 orders I have placed...

I agree, I've never experienced such poor customer service. The products I've purchased have been great, when they finally arrive. The "service" they use to track order shipments is completely useless, also, it's been my experience, that their staff has no clue when orders will ship. If they can get it together, they potentially could have a pretty good company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The product was great at one time, lately the filters run out very fast and leak. I have been waiting 3 weeks on an order I placed. I got on live chat and was told I could place another order and that the filters are in stock. So I asked them to honor the order I had already placed and then I got no response. The email "customer service" is HORRID! There are many other ecig companies out there, my first piece of advice is to see if you can reach a real person before dealing with any company. I just want my money back at this point, but I cannot even get a response.

this e-cigarette is always out of stock. They charged me for an order three weeks ago and have not shipped it. There is no customer service. They do not reply to complaints. I will switch companies and try to get my money back. Anyone have another E -cig company/ product that you like?

Same boat here! I love my micro and with success in kicking the traditional habit. The problem is I am down to 2 cartriges and now have zero options for refills. I can understand having a shortage of 1 flavor but to have 90% of your refill options out of sock for over a month is just not ok. I really liked this product and its true to its name. I convinved 2 friends to try and they are now reminding me every other day "when they getting more in stock Dave"

Great product when its in stock. i will be ordering a blu cig or zero cig tomorrow. I wish SC would have tried harder to work with the ones who are thankful for their technology.

Just to let you know, This e-cig is rated F with the Better Business Bureau. It's the worst company I've ever encountered. They also have false advertising.
They claim they would fix any problem, but customer service never responds.

I ordered my safe-cig replacements on January 10th, two weeks later I still had not received them in the mail. Meanwhile mine ran out and I am trying to quit smoking. After emailing this product to ask about the delay they tell me they are out of my flavor and that it will be another 2 weeks!!! When were they going to inform me of that? They also have nobody you can talk to on the phone. Poorly run company with no clue on customer service, they should have sent me another refill close in flavor when they realized my flavor had run out, or at least contacted me so I could have made other arrangements. Everybody knows that when you are trying to quit smoking you need your nicotine fix, they probably don't care about that though since they don't care about their customers....I will never use them again after the way I was treated. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY...
