Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueTo be fair I ran this test for almost a week (bought 10 carts, 2 packs) using the recommended XL battery too (Great battery btw), and averaged NO MORE THAN 70 PUFFS IN ONE XL CART!!! Now do the math: $22 for 5 carts, $4.40 each cart at 70 puffs each cart. That is an average of 5 or 6 cigs per XL CART. 20 analog cigs in a pack averages 240 puffs at $6.00 a pack. For 2.5 X MORE $$$ I get these "nearly 3 times more that truly equal less than half of 1 pack" pieces of garbage! E-cigs generally average $2.00 a pack. By their own math you get 3 packs per cart x 5 carts to equal 15 packs total, I got less than 1.5 packs for $22.00, remember I was MORE than generous with the beginning figures. So if you want to pay the equivalent of $14 per pack go right out ant get some PURE XL!!! PURE TRASH!!! Hope the battery is redeemable, they are 510 threaded by the way so most of you BETTER brand cards will work. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueWendy commented on May 05 2012: I love, love, LOVE my Pure XL. Except for the fact that it's huge... but that's what you get when you go XL. I somehow damaged the battery unit threads and had to send it in for replacement (Pure has excellent customers service I might add). Meanwhile I got caught up in Blu's awesome marketing and decided to buy their starter kit, thinking maybe I'd love it more than my Pure - or would have a great back up unit, worse case scenario. Turns out that wasn't worse case... Blu is terrible. Simply awful. Cartridge life and battery charge aren't a fraction of what Blu advertises. Some carts come straight out of the box tasting like toxic waste - then some will last 8 or 9 hours and some last 1 or 2. Further, the Blu produces minimal vapor and no throat hit whatsoever. With Pure, the cartridge flavors are great, as is the vapor and TH. $75 Blu kit, straight in the trash. I'll keep vaping my $40 PureXL. |

Pure Cig do not burn tobacco and thus does not contain the tar, smoke, ash, and thousands of chemicals contained in traditional cigarette smoke.
Pure Cig cartridges contain a proprietary mixture consisting of distilled water, propylene glycol, nicotine, and artificial flavorings. All ingredients are classified by the FDA as 'generally regarded as safe for human consumption'.
Many ecig brands simply slap their name on some chinese knockoff junk, including a poorly written manual. Pure Cig user manuals are fully illustrated on high quality paper.
