Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueCindy commented on April 23 2012: I'm having the same problems as Heather. They do seem to respond quickly to my "trouble tickets". I'm always getting liquid nicotine coming out of the mouthpiece, which reduces the amount of liquid needed for the vapor. ALSO - with in 2 weeks of getting my starter kit, the gray piece that lights up on the bottom, feel off of both of the chargers. I was told that if they would not "click back on", I'd have to superglue them!! ChicagoLady commented on April 16 2012: I would NEVER, EVER, recommend this brand. I am NOT having the happy experience that many people here are describing. (which is why I ordered). First of all this is NOT my first e-cig, I've been using them since 2008. Here's the laundry list of problems: 1)Nicotine keeps getting in my mouth its NOT saliva because my saliva does not make my mouth feel number or tingly. Direct liquid nicotine solution DOES. (2)The battery last about 3 hours. (3)The cartridges are out after about 7 puffs (8) There is NO telephone posted to call this ecig. (9)(this e-cigarette's "LIVE CHAT" is ALWAYS offline. (10) They are slow to respond to the "Tickets" you must submit from their website if you have a problem. So when using this product, I spend a lot of time working it, charging, recharging, puffing a few times, spitting out nicotine, rinsing my mouth, blowing air thru the cartridge, (as they advised on the faq's) puffing again, then oops! now the cartridge is out already, and then recharging and spitting out nicotine again and risnsing my mouth. Sound like a fun smoking experience?? Its too much work!!I would tell anyone STAY AWAY FROM PROSOMOKE!!!!! |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueI had a friend who had this product and I tried it (Vanilla flavor). I couldn't believe how smooth it was and since I am trying to quit anyway, I decided to buy this device. I got it over the weekend and I am satisfied with it. Except, the cartridges that I have doesn't seem to produce enough vapor. It was good the first time but now that I have charged the units, I don't seem to get enough vapor out of the cartridges. I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong or not. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueStacy commented on March 31 2012: It is most likely from the ecig. I experience the same thing if I don't drink extra water. Because the ecigs produce vapor, this dehydrates you a little and extra water intake is needed to counteract. A normal intake recommendation for daily water consumption is 8 twelve ounce glasses a day, so it's important to meet or exceed this while using ecigs. Dry lips/mouth are a late sign of dehydration. Increase your water intake fo a full day and the next day your lips will be normal again. I personally think this "side effect" is less bothersome and more manageable than the silent long term death that traditional cigarettes cause to my health. :-) Stacy, RN |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueI think the product is pretty good, i would definatly recommend it, im even thinking about buying one for the wife. As i said i have no experiance with e-cigarettes but i am happy with the battery life, especially since you get a spare. I was supprised with the vapor, i am still able to blow "smoke rings" lol ... I havnt needed to use the customer service so i honestly couldnt say how the service is. The cost i think is ok, maybe a bit on the pricey side but i guess i would be spending more on real smokes every week so i guess it evens out. Overall in pretty happy with what i paid for! |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueI was using 21st Century Smoke which burned my throat; this product is MUCH smoother. Some folks seem to like the harsh throat hit; I vastly prefer the smooth hit. BREAK IN PERIOD It takes a couple days for a new atomizer to get going; more and more vapor and flavor as time went on. BATTERY, VAPOR, & SIZE Pro Smoke's battery lasts about 75% of 21st C (I smoke 1.5 packs per day and must recharge battery 3x's). Likewise, the vapor is about 75%. I found that 21st Century gave me as much vapor as a real cigarette. However, the 21st century e-cig is about 35% larger than PS (and about 2x's the weight). Also, the 21st Century cartridge is steel and therefore you can't hold it in your mouth or teeth while shooting a game of pool. CARTRIDGES 21st C. cartridges last about 30 cigs; PS is about 15 cigs. INHALING Unlike the 2-piece cigs, the 3-piece has a learning curve. Too light on the suction and you get too little vapor; too hard on the suction and you get a little juice. CARRYING CASES I was delivered 3 DIFFERENT cases from this device. There's two different models of the Portable Carrying Case [steel case without charger]. One has 5 internal slots; one has 3 internal slots. The one with 3 internals slots is better as it stores the items diagonally, allowing a fully assembled cig (battery atomizer cartridge). The one with 5 slots does not (so you have to unscrew the atomizer each time you put the cig in/out of the case). FLAVORS The flavors are smooth and delicious; I loved the cherry - it's almost like smoking a quality tobacco in a cherry pipe. CUSTOMER SERVICE I give PS 8/10 on cordiality; 1/10 on competency. Twice they sent me the wrong items. They don't email or phone. The electronic 'ticket' system works relatively well (2-8 hour response time). I live in NY and each screwed up shipment took 2 business days to arrive. They sent me 5 free cartridges the 1st screw up; 2 free cartridges on the 2nd screw up. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/Valueportable charging case. I can say that for the most part, this e-cigarette lives up to its reputation. -It produces an awesome amount of vapor. -The battery holds an impressive charge for its size -The portable charging case is extremely useful and can charge a battery to full about 4 times per case charge. However, I do not plan to stick with this e-cigarette. I find it is just not a good fit for me. -The vapor produced has little to no throat hit (to be expected with vegetable glycerin as opposed to propylene glycol) and it has almost no taste. Occasionally I'll get an after taste somewhat resembling flavor but even then it is impossible to discern what flavor it is and for the most part it will taste more like envelope adhesive (that taste you get after you lick a letter closed). -It is very difficult for me to use this e-cigarette while driving. The atomizer seems to be overly sensitive or something but even slight airflow in the vehicle sets it off. After a few minutes the unit overheats or senses overuse and shuts itself down. After this happens it refuses to respond to my inhaling on it until it has had an opportunity to rest. I don't have AC in my vehicle so I ride with the window down. There is no way I can drive in a sealed hotbox just to be able to vape at the same time. I am considering ordering one of the various 510 style units next as they are reputed to also produce a large amount of vapor and certain models offer manual control of the vaporizer which should resolve my issue while driving. |

Battery Life Smoke/Vapor Cust. Service Cost/ValueChris commented on March 12 2012: First off, I just want to say this is my honest opinion about this E-Cig. I ordered this device after viewing positive reviews from youtube. Out of all the reviews, there were only really 2 that gave it a so so, or bad review. I figured because there were more positive reviews, that it would be a good product. Well when I first got it, It didn't produce any vapor. I contacted support, and sure enough they helped me, and it started to work. But, when you inhale, there is kinda a nasty taste, no matter what flavor you use, or no taste at all. There is no "throat hit" what so ever. I also noticed it leaves a nasty feeling on my lips.....which is kinda hard to describe. i wouldn't recommend this e-cig if you smoke a pack a day. Honestly, I had a better feeling using the brand name ecig called BlueCigs. I also had the starter kit for that, but the batteries never lasted long, and also, there was alot less vapor then this brand. A couple of days before i recieved this ecig, I bought the disposable blue cigs from wallgreens. I have to HONESTLY say they were good. Nice throat hit, and i actually only smoked 7 real cigs that day (which really suprised me, because i do smoke a pack a day). These were the disposable's from blucigs......but they were expensive. Cost about $10 for 1 cig. This cig, lasted me for a whole day before the battery went dead. If you want to try a e-cig, i do recommened buying a disposable one just to try it out. you can go on the blucigs website, and see where they sell them in the stores near you. For some reason, the blucigs disposable ones are better then the regular starter kits for some reason. I will say that they now have the 100's, so that may be better. i just bought the regular starter kit which i wouldn't recommened either. All in all, do your research. Besides going on youtube, you should really google the cig, and see if there are any forums on it. I suggest if you only see youtube reviews, don't get it. If there are alot of reviews from it on regular forums, then i would give it a try. Overall, this e-cigarette stinks in my opinion. I looked into another thing, which is called vaping. I orderd a joyce ego 650, which has tons, and i say tons of reviews, from youtube, to forums, to internet broadcasts. there are differnt nicotine levels you can try, depending on how much you smoke. Also tons of different flavors u can try. That will be my next thing, and i will have it in a couple of days. I m not gonna get into that, but just google.... joyce ego 650. do your research about it, look at the website, look at youtube and see if that would be right for you. Anyways, i just wanted to write this review, because i m sick of wasting my money on ecigs that just suck. I hope that i can atleast help 1 person out with this review....then writing all this would be worth it. My final thoughts: this e-cig : sucks, don't get it. you will be dissapointed. Vapor is good for an ecig, but thats about it. Blucigs: Honestly, the regular starter kits suck, no vapor at all, and the batteries die fast. The 100's that they sell now, may be better I don't know. Blucigs disposables: They are decent, good vapor and decent throat hit. But expensive at $10 a cig. Those are the three i have tried, and there is my review. Again, do your research, its your hard earned money, and you dont want to waste it. I havent recieved my ego yet, but i have a really good feeling about it, tons and tons of reviews on the net about it. I did my research on it, and i m 100% sure that will work for me. Anyways....good luck to anyone who is reading this, and i hope i was somewhat helpful. |
